What is TM1 Architect?
IBM Cognos TM1 Architect is an excellent TM1 client tool very much useful
for TM1 administrators and for TM1 developers. But any one with the required
security credentials can use TM1 Architect to access, develop and maintain
all Cognos TM1 server-based objects.
Users need the right privilege to create or to modify dimensions, cubes, rules,
processes, and chores.
NOTE : Microsoft Excel installation is not required for TM1 Architect to work.
The other TM1 client tool named TM1 Perspectives requires Microsoft Excel
to be installed in order to work because it is nothing but an Excel add-in
built to make use of the functionalities of Excel.
