The 43rd Annual Meeting is jointly provided by the
American Society of Anesthesiologists and the
American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants. As
a convenience and benefit to anesthesiologists,
anesthesia providers, practitioners, nurses and
administrators who work and specialize in ambulatory,
office-based or non-operating room anesthesia, this
continuing education conference is structured as a five-
day event. The activity offers up to 29 AMA PRA
Category 1 Credits™ with content derived from
educational survey feedback and post-meeting
evaluations over past conferences.
Statement of Need
The AAAA2019TM Annual Conference provides a forum
devoted to educational needs; informs attendees on
current issues in anesthesiology and perioperative
medicine across multiple disciplines; networking
opportunities with peers and experts in the field; and
exposure to relevant products/services of interest to
our attendees in the exhibits area.

Meeting. Presenters will deliver overviews of work to conference attendees and answer questions

ACLS, BLS, & PALS classes include all new American Heart Association updates for 2019. This workshop
offers 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

now offers a Master of Science in Anesthesia degree through the Anesthesiologist Assistant Program. The program
began in 2017 and currently has 24 students. Its first class of students will be graduating this December. This 28-
month program includes didactic curriculum complemented by clinical rotations through a variety of subspecialties.
