Tito, The Harmonic Three

The Harmonic Three are the Folk Rock sound of the North-Bay Area.

Originally founded in 2009 and rebranded in September 2014, The Harmonic Three differentiate themselves with all original folk harmonies, or original arrangements of classic folk tunes. With acoustic ammunition varying from upbeat melodies that will get you on your feet, to tastefully drawn-out harmonies that will tug your heart strings, Steve Wolf, Ben Tedder, and Mason Holcomb succeed at pulling you down in to the nitty-gritty of the human experience. Emotional vocal harmony and tasteful musical storytelling set The Harmonic Three aside from the other folk sounds.

The band began playing several open mic night gigs in the area winning a small following of friends and family in Fairfax Ca. Before too long, The Harmonic Three started landing progressively larger gigs at various music-bar venues such as Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco and True North in San Anselmo, and eventually full length, stand-alone, shows at the historic Belrose Theater in San Rafael and the exclusive Monkey House venue in Berkeley. Additionally, the band has been interviewed live on KPFA with Dennis Bernstein, and has since been back to perform live in conjunction with recurring daily program, Flashpoints.

Mission Statement Tito is dedicated to the writing and performing of great songs with great harmonies. We are committed to truth, love, and integrity and follow in the mission and the spirit of the great American folk tradition. We wish to bring joy and comfort with our songs and hope that people feel the truth of our stories in their own lives.

Steve Wolf

Born in 1958, raised primarily in Fairfax, CA, Steve is a folk Singer /song writer who grew up in musical family that played a lot of folk music and developed an interest in composing while still in high school. He studied music and composition at San Francisco State and the University of California in Riverside, graduated with a degree in music from CU Boulder in 1982. He then studied voice and acting briefly after graduation and began writing his Song Book in 1985. He has since compiled upwards near 1000 songs and performed in several bay are bands.

Ben Tedder

Born in 1988 and raised in Northern California. Ben was always interested in music and poetry, he moved to San Francisco at the age of nineteen, began working in screen printing and started writing his own songs and playing in bands. After his first self recorded album he formed a band he called "Tito" after a nickname given to him in his early teenage years. The band dissolved eventually and Ben move for a time to Brazil and upon his return he met Steve Wolf and Mason Holcomb. They began to play, exchange songs, harmonize and decided to revive Tito as a new band.

Mason Holcomb

Born in 1989 in the Bay Area and raised in Fairfax. Before he began to explore music, Mason studied art, focusing on figurative and portraiture works in oil paint, beginning in high school and then attending Academy of art University in San Francisco. Around this time he met Steve wolf and began to study music theory, taking classes at school. After receiving a BFA in Illustration in December 2012, Mason collaborated with Steve began a year-long search looking to form a band, and almost magically, Ben appeared onto the scene
