Reservoir Dogs title sequence is different to other films. It is very plan and simple. It has a few long shot of the characters and close up of the characters being introduced. It shows the cast and crews name on a black background. This is different to other films as they normally have some visual effects in the background or some location. Also one thing that was very different is that at the end of the title sequence it does not show the directors name. This breaks the conventions as normally at the end it shows the directors name.

THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO

The title sequence is very different in a way but also similar to other title sequences like Skyfall as they have lots of visual effects. During the title sequence there is lots of visual effects going on such as a man and women are drenched in oil and someone lights them on fire. There is loud music playing in the background this tells the audience that something might happen to the man and women something bad. In the title sequence it shows the standard ingredients which you normally see in the sequence such as production company and studios, the title and the cast and crews name. But also this sequence is very different to other films because of the visuals used in the sequence.

CATCH ME IF YOU CANCatch me if you can title sequence is an animation of a man running away from a detective this hints to the audience what the film is going to be about. This is different to other sequence as normally they wouldn’t hint as much of what goes on during the film. But the visual effects are similar to most sequence as they normally use special effects in some ways. Also they show the standard ingredients for example the production company, title, use of music, cast/crew and director at the end. This is also similar to the title sequence of Skyfall as that also hints out what happens in the film like death and violence.
