• Use italics for scientific names

• Do not use ALL-CAPS 

Tables & Figures

• separate page for each• number consecutively ( as appear in text)• refer to each in the text • captions must be self-explanatory• any abbreviations must be self-explanatory• only essential labeling, detailed info in

captions• all lines: 0.5 point minimum

• all symbols/numbers/lettering must be big enough & in proportion with other labels
