DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, GANDHINAGAR Academic session 2021-22 Event Report “India is the cradle of Human Race, the Birth place of Human speech, The Mother of History, The Grandmother of Legend, and the Great Grandmother of Tradition.” To inculcate the same values in the students of class LKG & UKG, Delhi Public School Gandhinagar had organised the Independence Day Celebration on 13 th August 2021. Keeping the age appropriateness factor in mind, students understood the meaning of independence and the importance of Independence Day through a story-based Power Point Presentation. Art and craft activity was also conducted on the Tri- colour theme. The celebration ended with the dance on the song Rang de Basanti.
