The absolute only way to become a better writer and better reader is to write more and to read more.
Revision is the greatest option that writers have.
Regardless of your career path, you will need to know how to write on some level. Take advantage of this summer to spend quality time on becoming a better writer. That is the goal for all of us this summer.
Reading opens doors to so many other worlds.
Make the reading real to you. Take notes as you read. Engage with the text. Ask questions as you read. See how you can use what you read to help you become a better reader, writer, and thinker.

Take advantage of the information covered in your textbooks about locating print and electronic sources.
Wikipedia is not a scholarly source.
Retrieving just any types of sources off of the internet is not the way to research.
Using scholarly databases located on the college’s library homepage along with NetLibrary -EBooks, is the best way to help develop your documented papers.
