  2. 2. PLOT or STORYLINE A narrative, literary term defined as the events that make up a story. http://bit.ly/1OdD48m In my own words: Tells an entire story, concepts are concerned. I was at the back stage, preparing for what will happen next. Felt butterflies in my stomach while waiting. And then they called our names, a lot of people were screaming in the crowd. We started and performed at our best. Applause came after the show. 1a

  4. 4. MY OWN PLOT Source: Angeli Louise Tinapay 1c Rising Action And then there came the big event, my heart was pounding before we perform. Knowing that there were many people in the crowd. Turning Point Approaching the stage and saw lots of people in the audience. We prepared for the first block of the dance. Climax Lights flashed and the music came. We performed in a huge crowd, screaming our names. A lot was proud of our performance even the team. Saw the smiles and the hype of our dance crew members. Falling Action Doing our best not only in stage is a big achievement for us. Even if the performance will only last for 4 mins, we still had the time of our lives. Resolution
  5. 5. RISING ACTION Is the part of the plot where the hero fights any obstacles and conflicts that stand in the way of reaching his goal. http://bit.ly/1CH7GNW In my own words: Event in a story leading up to the most exciting part. My example: Its almost the performance, sleepless nights for the homeworks. Late night trainings until 10 PM for the event. Looking forward to the piece that we will perform. 2
  6. 6. TURNING POINT A point at which a significant change occurs. http://bit.ly/1MarZ9K This is the time when an important event happens. My example: Now were going to perform. The crew captain told us to do our best and perform as we show the people how we dance for God and for the team. 3
  7. 7. CLIMAX Staircase or ladder of a narrative work. Is the point of highest tension or drama. http://bit.ly/1f3OpLY A moment when the main conflict in the story is resolved. My example: And then, The lights flashed before our eyes. The music turned up and we started dancing like we never danced before. 4
  8. 8. FALLING ACTION Is defined as the part of a story after the climax and before the very end. http://bit.ly/1CDZKxe In my own words: it is what happens after the main problem of the story has been solved. My example: Crowds cheered for our victory as they saw how great the performance is. 5
  9. 9. RESOLUTION It is the part of the storys plot line in which the problem of the story is worked out. http://bit.ly/1e0LNxq In my own words: Simply tying up any loose ends that may be left in the story. My example: Seeing the faces of my dance crew or my so called second family with wide smiles and their adrenaline. There is no feeling in the world like doing what you love in front of a huge crowd. 6

Great experiences I have along the way are just important as achieving things and realizing end goals. I learned that Id rather try something new and fail instead of sitting in my comfort zone. 13. 13. Usefulness in real situations How can you use what you have learned in some situations in your own life? In life, I learned how to be independent, living without my parents, a story or a situation that comprises me a s a whole. There are stories, that some are good and some are bad, the firs time I tried biking, t fell off the road. It was bad. Yet I learned. I am now concerned about failing and interested in creating my own success of story. APPLICATIONS 3 Note: Tests may include ideas from this source and this source.
