EXPERIENCE:_______________________________________________________________________Zimmer Biomet Contractor (Feb 2016 – Current)Working as a quality engineer on multiple tasks dealing with complaint handling.

Organized the work breakdown structure for my team and ensured each team member understood their task Conducted complaint and sales searches to verify other engineers work Analyzed sales and complaint data over a period of time to compile new databases of information to be

used by other engineering teams in the CAPA process Entered complaints into the system, officially closing those complaints

Fox IV Technologies Part-time (Jan 2015-Nov 2015)Worked with R&D as the primary designer for a brand new printer with 8 week time frame. Created the SolidWorks models and drawings to approximate 2 print heads in a confined space Fabricated, 3D printed, and assembled parts for multiple iterations of the printer Assisted with the install of the printer at the company’s plant and discussed the product with the end users

to gain insight on future refinements Created a manual for removing printer components for manufacturing personnel Worked individually to design label printer applicators for marketing purposes. Designed, fabricated, and tested a label applicator that folds the label before applying it to a package Converted 2D drawings to 3D in SolidWorks that would be used the new manuals for the machines

Clinical Bioengineering Graduate Class Student (Spring 2015-Fall 2015) Tasked with identifying a problem in a clinical settings and building a prototype that can solve the problem. Addressed the issues with adolescent scoliosis back braces after our preliminary research. Interviewed and observed orthopedic, trauma, and physical therapy physicians during their practices Created designs in SolidWorks, led the prototyping fabrication phase, and created the Design History File Created evaluation methods of the prototype and conducted tests to verify the standards Performed additional analysis to understand reimbursement, hazard analysis, design for manufacturing,

and regulatory strategies

Capstone Design Summer Experience Student Assistant (Summer 2013) Worked 12 weeks with a team of students to complete multiple senior design projects in the assistive device field . The design projects included 1) A Hip Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) device 2) Infant Mobility device 3) Running Chair 4) Knee, Ankle, and Foot Orthotic. Used SolidWorks to create part assembly drawings and finite element analysis. Used CNC, standard mills, and lathe to machine aluminum parts. Wrote user's manual for the Hip CPM and filled out sections of IRB form for this device. Interacted with clinicians to understand what the clinical needs were for an infant mobility device.
