• Jesus entered here for his Triumphal entry

• Sealed in the Crusader period

Jesus Is Welcomed As a Hero

What did his welcome mean?

• The “Hosanna” cry

• Palm branches and coats

• The title “Son of David”

• Blessed is the one who comes…

Jesus will come back to earth as King of Kings!

• Jesus’ teaching• Jesus at his trial• Angel at the ascension• Apostles’ teaching• Revelation to John

Because Jesus is coming…

• When Jesus returns you will be totally accountable

• The prospect of eternity puts this life in perspective!

Do we have a part?

• Third result of our turning to God is that he will send the Christ

• To restore – v. 21

• To speed his coming - 2 Pe 3:10-14
