KROK Decepticon Agitprop

®

 BIO

Millions of years ago, Krok was a celebritymecha-soccer player, leading Polyhex City tochampionship after championship. After hewas recruited by Megatron, his sophisticat-

ed demeanor and easy charisma madefor a smooth transition from endorsingproducts to advocating for the Decepti-con cause. As an extension of this role,Krok has come to believe that a few

powerful personalities can do moreto win a war than a battalion of

Blitz Engines.

After coming to Earth duringthe early 1990’s, Krok instantlybecame enamored with humanculture – in particular sports of

course. When not on duty, Kroktries to catch the latest Earth

soccer matches...Although hedoes so while avoiding the brutish,

thuggish Double Punch who seemsto only watch the sport as an excuse

to create noise and cause destruction.Krok prefers to study the strategies usedby each team as well as each player’s

skill in order to better his own game.

WEAPONS / ABILITIES  Although he was a formidable pres-ence on the pitch, Krok is gun-shyduring actual combat and prefers tomaintain his distance in his stealthbomber conguration. If he is some-how cornered though and forcedinto hand-to-hand combat, his legsare powerful enough to kick an op-ponent into orbit or topple a building

with a single stomp. His partner, Gatoraider, is a technosuchus

synthensis whose 37,000-PSI bite can snapthrough solid Tritanium. In chain gun mode,Gatoraider can shoot 400 laser rounds perminute and has a range of 100 yards.

 WEAKNESSES

Although at times highly competitive, Krokis still not a ghter. He has adapted some ofhis mecha-soccer talent to the battleeld,

but he is easily intimidated by the scenes ofactual warfare. This often allows the enemyto easily get the drop on him and delay hisportion of any given mission.

Despite Krok treating Gatoraider asan equal, the creature is barely one-stepabove feral mechafauna and shares thatsame temperament as the technosuchusstill wild in the sulfur bogs at the edge ofthe Rust Sea. This can lead to bouts of de-creased cooperation, leaving Krok withouthis main assault weapon.

 BIO

After his encounter with four Autobots rekin-

dled his lust for domination, a washed-outterrorist tracked down the discarded body ofa Sweep and used it as a recipient for datafrom an old Cobra project to combine themilitary acumen from the greatest strategicminds of Earth’s past. The EDC disrupted theoperation, but in the process General Clayton

“Hawk” Abernathy was knocked into aBrainwave Scanner and his personalityuploaded to the amalgamated conscious-ness. The result is a being who, nominally, identies with Cobra and their occasionalallies, the Decepticons, and yet nds

himself sympathetic to the cause ofthe Earth Defense Command, which heremembers founding and leading.

While acknowledging his profoundleadership capabilities, Serpent O.R.’sDecepticon superiors do not yet trusthim. For this reason he has beenplaced in command over only a smallsquadron of motley Decepticons.Serpent O.R. does not mind, how-ever, as he sees this as but a simplechallenge and is condent that he willshow his worth.

WEAPONS / ABILITIES Serpent O.R. carries a twin-barreled“Strike” attack gun and a laser-pow-ered heat ray, capable of instantly heat-ing any metal to 3200° centigrade. Forcloser combat, he also has access tohis Serpent Scepter, which is formedby Microns Gob and Zad. With thisdeceptively versatile weapon, he cancause tremendous amounts of internaldamage in any opponent as he deliversblow after vicious blow.

In vehicle mode, Serpent O.R. cantravel at an astounding mach 10 thanksto the inuence of his Sweep heri-tage. Due to his reconstruction as anin-atmosphere ghter though, he hasgreater banking and maneuverabilitythan even Scourge.

WEAKNESSES The dissonance between his loyalties

to Cobra and the Decepticons as wellas the EDC hampers Serpent O.R.’sotherwise brilliant tactical mind, buteven his divided processor is capable ofgenerating ruthless, inventive plans ofincredible subtlety.

Serpent O.R.’s “Strike” attack gun andheat ray tend to jam when overheated, making him rely on his Serpent Sceptereven when faced with the heaviest ofartillery re.

Carzap Autobot Forward Patrol

®

BIOCarzap is a young warrior born fromthe G2 Project. Due to his creationtaking place in the Blackrock Corpora-

tions’s “Block Town” unit of the JapaneseTsukuba Laboratory he holds a deep

afnity for the culture of Japan. Carzap’soutlook on life was greatly affected by hisfascination with races at the nearby DiaSpeedway, but he is by no means brash:

to him, life is much like the loop of aracetrack. Even if he misses one op-portunity, he remains optimistic thatgiven time, the chance will presentitself once again.

He holds a great deal of respectfor his new group leader Rapido, who combines a kind exterior with

a coolly plotting mind, but Carzap’sJapanese-inuenced English often results

in miscommunication between them.On the racetrack, his agility has earnedhim the nickname “Ame-no-habakiri,”and he likes to invoke his Japaneseheritage by claiming he has “the speed

of a shinobi.”

“Think of tomorrow’s victoriesbefore today’s failures!”

WEAPONS / ABILITIES Carzap’s primary weapon is a mazer beam

cannon that attaches to either side of hiscar mode, or combines for robot mode. It isa powerful weapon that is nearly undetect-able until it strikes its target, and can alsohave its frequency changed to act as mazerdaggers.

WEAKNESSES Carzap’s speed means that he consumesenergy at accelerated rates and he needsto refuel with greater frequency thansome of his other Autobot comrades. In

his eagerness to please his colleagues heoften forgoes fueling for as long as possi-ble to try to prove his endurance equal tohis cohorts, which results in stall outs andsluggish reaction times.

BIO Tarantulas is a being without ahistory. His stasis pod, along withthree others, was discovered in oneof Jhiaxus’ laboratories. However, due to his rush to remove Jhiaxus’clones, Sky-Byte did not notice thedifference in the stasis pods nor didhe explore the origin of the fouralien pods. When emergent robotsimmediately declared for the Pre-dacon cause, all interest in furtherinvestigation was set aside.

Tarantulas has since discovered anendless fascination with exper-imental science, especiallyseeking any opportunity forvivisection. Rumors persistthat he engages in canni-balistic practices with themech uids he extracts from hishapless victims. His knowledge ofcyber-anatomy is unparalleled andhas enabled him to create a varietyof tools and inventions, including his

 Arachnoid minions.

WEAPONS / ABILITIES Tarantulas converts to a motorcyclecapable of short bursts of great accel-eration, although he usually uses thisas a means of escape rather than foroensive purposes.

In combat, he likes to hack his oppo-nents to pieces with his nuclo-titaniumax or tear at their armor plating with theduranium servo-pinchers formed by his

Arachnoids. The messier that it gets, the better he likes it!

WEAKNESSES  Although trained in several forms ofhand-to-hand combat, Tarantulas’ av-erage physical strength is still a liability. He can be easily overpowered by largerenemies. For this reason he often favorsquick hit-and-run attacks, which has ledto his being labeled a coward by someof the stronger Predacons. They wouldrather guffaw and mock than providehim aid, causing Tarantulas to resort toeven more individual lightning attacksand quick retreats.

Tarantulas’ Arachnoids are autonomous, but possess only rudimentary program-ming. This means that they tend towander off on their own, leaving Taran-tulas without them in an emergency.
