Creating a Student-centered Course Based on Current EventsTim Thompson KAIST
The best way to find out if your students understand something is to see if they can teach it to someone else.
About the Course• Met twice a week for 75 minutes each.
• 15 students were enrolled. (Max. 20)
• Students could work alone, in pairs, or in groups up to four members.
• Students chose a topic and worked on it for two weeks (one round).
• Class time was used to collect information, assemble websites, report on their progress, ask for help/feedback, and present their final project for each round.
