My role included providing policy analysis and research for the Federal Member and using this to write speeches, the local Wills Report, campaign material, submissions and respond to constituents. I was responsible for undertaking investigation of constituent enquiries involving all levels of government. This entailed making representations to and liaising with Ministers’ and Shadow Ministers’ offices, and communicating responses to individuals over the phone, in person and in written correspondence. I also managed the Federal Member’s emails and provided office management as required regarding his Parliamentary Entitlements.

Leadership role supporting the Team Leader in managing 25 staff in the Shell Orders Team that included the daily attainment of KPIs, performance management, recruitment and project management in facilitating the successful migration of our team’s operations to Manila.

Achievements

Successful team building through quality candidate selection as demonstrated through retention of staff and consistent team achievement of KPI's.

Global Customer Service Vice President Award for operational excellence in delivering exceptional performance of the Orders Team.

Successful facilitation and eventual realisation over a 16 month period of the migration of the Orders Team’s operations to Manila.

Orders Team customer service operator with a high inbound call volume which included placement of orders for a diverse customer base. This also entailed problem solving, conflict resolution, time management and the application of quality service skills all within the context of a daily deadline of 11am for next day deliveries. Deputy leadership position supporting the Team Leader and relieving Team Leader as required.
