Burton’s Earlier Work• Tim Burton began by drawing small illustrations
as a child
• He then went on to become an artist and animator for Disney after they were attracted by his short film ‘Stalk of the Celery Monster’.
• Disney thought that his own style and aesthetic didn’t quite suit the Disney theme.
• Disney gave him his own projects to work on such as a Hansel and Gretle remake, A Nightmare Before Christmas, and much more.
• This is where he created his own style.
