Project Description The evidence warehouse is a 30,000 SF tilt-up including both warehouse and offi ce space. A few of the facility amenities include a computer-automated inventory tracking system; security, including video event logging and refrigerated units for storing DNA samples.

Project Description Building #100 - 83,888 SF Building #200 - 83,999 SF Building #300 - 77,499 SF Building #400 - 84,000 SF Building #500 - 78,200 SF The Airport Commerce Center project consisted of fi ve concrete tilt-up buildings on a thirty-fi ve acre site. Site work and buildings #100, #200 and #400 were completed in 2001. Building #300 was completed in early 2003, and Building #500 in the fall of 2003. These tilt-up facilities are located just outside the grounds of Dulles International Airport, and were developed by Seefried Industrial Properties, Inc. as speculative buildings catering to airport support tenants.

Project Description The B/W Auction building is a 78,000 SF building which includes 40,000 SF of vehicle auction area and 38,000 SF of offi ce space. The building was constructed using tilt wall construction and conventional steel structures, including a pre-engineered structure for the auction roof. The facility includes administrative offi ces with Class A fi nishes, a restaurant, a barbershop, a cash transaction safe room, an underground vehicle exhaust system, and a state-of-the-art EMS system. The job included approximately 150,000 LF of data/catv wiring, three miles of guardrail and fencing, 25 acres of paving including intrastructure, and a new county road approximately 1/4 mile long with two new entrances.

Project Description This 40,000 SF paint and auto facility includes 5,000 SF of administrative offi ce space. The building contains a Varco roof and columns built with a concrete tilt panel skin. The tilt panels were poured on four casting beds because of the fl oor slab conditions. The fl oor slab was cut up with pits, sloped fl oors, and different fl oor fi nishes to accommodate the unique characteristics of this facility. Inside you will fi nd, ten paint primer booths and eight fi nish paint booths. All booths are installed with custom ventilation and fi re protection requirements.

Project Description Marshfi eld Business Park is a 1.5 million square foot industrial park on 84 acres located in Baltimore County, Maryland. The park is designed to accommodate fi ve (5) tilt-up buildings, the largest being Building II at 508,171 square feet.
Tilt –up construction has many advantages, one is speed of construction. July 1st, Building III’s 272,000 SF fl oor slab is 50% complete. By August 19, the slab has been completed and the tilt walls are 90% erected with the steel roof frame already started.

There was an 8 week time constraint to complete this 46,500 SF offi ce/warehouse build out. NARDI was able to complete the job in 6 weeks and under budget. The interior offi ce space consisted of a high fi nish level with 10 foot ceilings, 2x2 ceiling tile and grid, ceramic tile, ploymix, multi paint color selections, and an upgraded mill work package.

Project Description Environmental Group and Custom Vending each developed their own corporate building on the same site in Beltsville, MD. Both buildings are concrete tilt-up housing corporate offi ces and warehouse space for each company. Environmental Group utilized concrete tilt-up construction along with a EIFS front facade for the smallest tilt-up facility to date at only 13,125 SF. Custom Vending’s facility is 32,425 SF. Both projects were Team Design Build.

Project Description Freeman Decorating Company is a 159,000 SF multiple use facility with 30,000 SF of corporate offi ce, a large manufacturing area, and 74 loading dock stations to facilitate rapid loading and unloading of product on a daily basis. The load bearing exterior concrete tilt-up wall panels received applications of polished granite. High density foam shapes create a parapet cornice and architectural details around the veneered glass window systems provide an upscale image for the corporate facility.
