We aim to provide the finest bathroom products from leading designers and manufacturers around the world. Tiles can vary widely in quality and finish, and the choice can be bewildering. This selection is intended as an ‘essentials’ range, sourced and recommended by C.P. Hart, and suitable for a wide range of bathrooms. All our tiles are porcelain. They are fully vitrified to create a very hard, stain resistant surface. Most are colour-bodied, so the colour runs right through the body of the tile.The collection features large format tiles that add a feeling of space and luxury to a bathroom. C.P. Hart imports all its tiles from a small number of hand-picked factories in Spain and Italy that meet our quality standards.

THe C.P. HArT TIle ColleCTIon

The real qualities of a tile are hard to show in a brochure, or on a website. The colour, texture, feel and reflective qualities can only be judged by seeing and touching the tile. each C.P. Hart showroom has a complete set of tiles to view, and stock samples that can be taken away and matched to furniture or room colour. There are always some variations from batch to batch and although every effort is made to represent the tiles accurately in this brochure, it is advised that customers request samples.

Many C.P. Hart clients now choose a wetroom. A fully watertight wetroom removes the need for separate shower enclosure, and can open up a small space. The process is straightforward and results in a secure seal. Ask our sales consultants for further details.

in South London in 1937. With his sons,

John and Tom, he began searching Europe

to source the very best in bathroom design.

In doing so, they led the revolution from

standard 1960s suites (in any colour as

long as it was avocado) to the huge choice

of designer bathrooms available today.

SAVIolISaviloi is a through-bodied porcelain tile, which is very versatile and timeless in style. The range comes in a choice of four matt colours drawn from the natural world. It also comes in two textures of finish, smooth and bush hammered. The latter is perfect for wet areas where additional grip is required.

AAlToAalto is a colour-bodied porcelain tile inspired by the hills of central Italy. The warm, organic colours vary markedly within each tile, reflecting a natural landscape. Aalto can be used for walls or floors, and works especially well when used on both. The five colourways can complement a classic or contemporary bathroom.

AlBInIAlbini is a porcelain full bodied tile which adopts the warm, rustic texture of worn timber. The tiles come in a variety of tones and surface decoration giving the bathroom a natural feel. This range has the look of wooden boards but has the advantage of lower maintenance and greater durability. Albini is easy to clean and stain resistant. Although it has a vintage feel, Albini would complement a contemporary or classic bathroom, in an urban or country setting.

Beyond its practical function of sealing the tiles and protecting the tile edges, the choice of grout greatly infl uences the overall aesthetic effect. Matching the grout to the tile colour can provide a neutral base for the beauty of the tile. Choosing a contrasting colour can emphasise the pattern of the tiles across the surface.

C.P. Hart recommend and supply a high quality grout from Mapei. It is available in more than 40 colours. In the table below we suggest a suitable matching colour for each of our tiles.
