VOCABULARIOFor each new vocabulary word there is a picture. If you think you know what the word is in English, then raise your hand.
Also for each new vocabulary word we will need an action. I will call on someone with their hand raised to give us an action for the word.

There is a bird. The bird is named Princess.
Princess is 25 years old.Princess is very
happy because today is the 31st of December y all of her friends are going to celebrate the New Year
tonight. Her best friend—Raquel the frog—has a party
and her boyfriend—the wolf
Leonardo—is going to come.
Leonardo is very handsome, intelligent, and athletic.
The bird prepares herself all day for the party—
from 6:30 AM until
10:45 PM.Princess is very pretty.
She is in a hurry because she does not want to arrive
late to the party.
She wants to arrive early to talk with Leonardo.

Enrique the elephant. Enrique asks her, “Why don’t you come with me to the party at

But Enrique is very mean. He is very mean because
he wants to reunite with Princess.Princess says to him,
“I have a new boyfriend and I have to go! Goodbye!”

Enrique has an idea. Enrique follows Princess to the party.
There she meets Leonardo.
At midnight, Enrique says to Leonardo,
“Princess is not your girlfriend! She’s my girlfriend!”
Then Enrique kisses Princess.In the end, Princess
is angry, Leonardo is sad, and Enrique is happy.
