Tic-Tac-ToeThis is a simple pattern for
a portable Tic-Tac-Toe game. It features a sliding lid to contain the pieces so the game can be brought
anywhere.
The above image shows the order to cut the pieces. Cutting in this order keeps you from having to cut from a small piece of wood, as it keeps it so you are always cutting from the
whole 5 1/2” square.
The below image shows proper alignment of the lid’s edge as well as the side support.

Pieces are cut from the holes in the game board to reduce waste wood.

To create the sliding lid, cut these lines at 15 degree angles. Be sure to cut them
opposite each other as depicted in the side view.
Pieces A & B will be glued to the corresponding areas marked on the game board.

Side supports will be glued to the sides of the completed game box. When gluing be sure to apply
ample glue to the top edge, as the point of these supports is to help hold the lid’s edges.
