General Information of the Project

Tianjin Zhongwang decides to built a brand new aluminum and

aluminum alloy manufacturing company with high level, large scale, modern and

international first-class super large high precision manufacture products. The

annual output of the project is 2 million ton Aluminium and Aluminium Alloy flat

rolled plate and strip products, while the project is designed with an overall

production capacity of 3 million ton


The production lines adopts the most advanced processing

technology and state of art equipments in the Aluminium and Aluminium

Alloy plate, strip and foil field both at home and abroad, which will supply

high precision, large-section high quality Aluminium and Aluminium alloy

plate and strip products for the various industries and construction field.

The products will be widely used in aerospace, national defense and

military industry, transportation, high-end industrial equipment and high-

end civil fields.

This project is expected to invest 75.8 billion Yuan, and the

products are positioned as large section, high strength, high toughness,

strict wear tolerance, high performance, aerospace plate, large dimension

marine plate and chemical plate, high-performance automobile plate and

sheet, High-speed train plate, compound plate and etc., which will

thoroughly break technological and economic blockade from western

countries, which once enforced on our country in the high-performance

plate production, thus meet national urgent needs.

This project is expected to invest 12.5 billion USD, and

the products are positioned as large section, high strength, high

toughness, strict wear tolerance, high performance, aerospace

plate, large dimension marine plate and chemical plate, high-

performance automobile plate and sheet, High-speed train plate,

compound plate and etc.

At the same time, this project also produces can stock, CTP,

PS sheet and other kinds of aluminum alloy rolling products,

which will completely change the situation that the series of

products mainly rely on import in the past. In order to achieve

above-mentioned objectives, the main production equipments of

this project are bought from the internationally renowned first-

class supplier.

The Most Advanced 30-120 Ton Melting/Holding Furnace

Group in the World from Gautschi

Gautschi company is a worldwide famous industrial furnace supplier,

and ranks the highest level in the aluminum melting/holding furnace

manufacturing industry with the 55Nm³/tAl consumption figure. At present, the

world's largest aluminum processing plant--German ALUNORF Company, with

production capacity of 1.5 million tons, 11 lines among its 13 melting-casting

lines are Gautschi company’s equipments and the other 2 lines bought from

other companies have been revampped.

Main Equipments


Gautschi company’s stationary round top charging melting Aluminium furnace and

oval horizontal tilting furnace, especially its honeycomb regenerative burner configuration are

unique in the industry. All the melting/holding furnace groups of this project are imported from

Gautschi company.

metal level control technologies, such as low metal level control with isothermal

distribution, and large-dimension casting technologies.

This project introduces one set world longest batch type quenching furnace (38m), and

3 sets quenching furnace of 25m. The quenching furnaces can produce 25m long

aerospace plate, satisfying the requirements of big plane and transport aircraft.

This project introduces

Biggest Plate Aging Furnace with the Function of

3-stage Aging (T7751) in China

This project introduces one set plate aging furnace of 39m, can completely

change the situation, that is high performance aerospace plates of T7751 used in big

plane engineering and military aircrafts can only be imported from other countries. At

present, the domestic aircraft companies urgently need this kind of high-end plate.

however this kind of plates needs to be totally imported. The foreign countries block

the export of the high-end Aluminium products to China, especially after the

launching of the Shenzhou Spacecraft.

This project introduces the widest plate Cut-to-Length line, which match to

the cold rolling mill having the largest openness in the world. This line can

produce large scale of ship plate, refrigerated container plate and container plate

with special requirement, which makes Zhongwang more market incomparable

competitive advantages. At present, production in piece is still the main method

in the world.

water pump station, waste water treatment station, de-dust system, compressed air

workshop, power plant, R&D center(checking and chemical analysis center),

packing area, comprehensive warehouse, oil garage, car garage, balance scale for

trunk, heat supply station(boiler house, supply heat to plant)etc will be designed as

a whole, however built up separately into two phases.
