Challenges: Scope of Operation and Infrastructure
• Indonesia is a BIG country, geographically is as wide as Europe
• Indonesia consists of thousands of island (>17,000), mostly are small and isolated
• Physical infrastructure such as roads and inter-island transportation means outside Java are mostly not in the ideal conditions
• IT infrastructure is limited and thus people’s access to Internet is also limited

Challenges: Limited IT infrastructure
• Internet penetration is only 16,1% (Malaysia is 58.8%)
• # of Handphone SIM card use: 180 millions – 75% of # of population
