Girls on the Run has been really exciting and awesome! – Adriana, 4th grade

Girls on the Run is a transformational after school program for girls in 3rd - 8th grade that uses the power of running to help prepare them for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living. In this 10-week program, the girls participate in lessons focused on social and emotional development and physically active games, giving them the tools to become strong, happy and self-confident young women. These activities prepare the girls for the celebratory end-of-season 5K held at the conclusion of each program.

Girls on the Run Greater Houston has served over 11,000 girls since its inception in 2001, with over 1,000 girls in the Fall 2019 season.

The Sneaker Soiree is our signature, annual fundraising event to help us continue to serve girls all over Harris, Fort Bend, and Montgomery Counties. We invite you to be a sponsor for this fun evening; sponsorship options below.
