    3/19

So far, so good: After Thunders three came win streak came to an end last night as Oklahoma City fell to the Timberwolves in Minnesota. With less than three weeks left in the regular season, the Thunder currently maintains a 3.5 game lead in the Northwest Division. After theThunders victory over the Orlando Magic on Mar. 15

th(coupled with a Golden State loss), Oklahoma City secured its fourth consecutive

postseason appearance. The Thunder currently maintains a winning percentage of .726, which puts the club on pace to finish with the bestrecord for the franchise in the Oklahoma City era.

Bouncing Back:Dating back to the start of the 2011-12 season, Oklahoma City has demonstrated a high level of resiliency in those gamesplayed immediately after a loss. After the Thunders bounce back win on Mar. 22 vs. Orlando, OKC improved to 15-4 mark in those gamesplayed after a loss this season. Since the start of the 2011-12 season, OKC is 30-7 in games played after a loss (second best mark in the NBAduring this span; San Antonio).

Winning Big: Despite last nights loss to Minnesota, the Thunder maintains a pointdifferential of 9.2 points per game. Since 1980, only six teams have finished a seasonwith a larger point differential than what the Thunder currently maintains (all six ofthose teams won NBA championships). The Thunder is on pace to register the largestpoint differential since the 2007-08 Celtics (10.3 point differential). On the season,OKC has won 38 games by double figures, including 18 wins of 20 or more (tops in theNBA this season). The Thunder has won nine of its last 10 home games (includingseven straight home wins from 2/22 vs. MIN 3/15 vs. ORL). In these nine wins, OKChas prevailed by an average of 22.1 points per game. The chart to the right illustrates those teams since 1980 to finish a season with a pointdifferential of 9.3 or greater.

Point Made: With the NBA season heading into the home stretch, the Oklahoma CityThunder finds itself among the league leaders in a number of offensive categories. Thechart to the right illustrates the Thunders team rankings in a number of these key

offensive categories. Last season, the Thunder (103.1 ppg) finished behind only theDenver Nuggets (104.1 ppg) and the San Antonio Spurs (103.6 ppg) in the quest tobecome the NBAs highest scoring team. During the 2011-12 season, the Thunder ledthe NBA in free throw shooting (80.6%) while ranking third in overall field goalshooting accuracy (47.1%).

Getting Defensive: As one might expect, team defense is always critical to overall team success. Through the first 73 games of the 2012-13season, Oklahoma City is allowing opponents to score 96.8 points on 42.6% shooting. With respect to opponent field goal percentage, OKC isholding their opponents to the second worst field goal percentage in the NBA. On the year, OKC is 17-1 when limiting the opposition to sub40.0% field goal shooting. The Thunder has twice set an Oklahoma City era record this season by limiting the opponent to just 69 points(11/26 vs. CHA and 2/10 at PHX). On Feb. 24

ththe Thunder held the Bulls to the lowest field goal shooting percentage in the NBA this season

(.291). The Bulls .291 shooting performance also stands as an opponent-low for the Thunder in the Oklahoma City era. OKC also set a Thundeera record by limiting the Jazz to just nine 2

    ndquarter points on Mar. 13.

Elite Status: During the 2012-13 season, Kevin Durant is averagingcareer-highs in a number of different categories (assists, steals and blocks).Whats even more remarkable is the efficiency with which Durant is scoringthe basketball this season. Durant is on pace to become just the secondplayer in NBA history (Larry Bird; 1986-87 season) to average 28+ points

while shooting better than 50.0% from the field, 90.0% from the free throwline and 40.0% from the 3-point line. If you were to ignore the efficientmanner in which Durant is scoring the basketball, the hall-of-fame list tothe right illustrates those players to record 28+ points, 8+ rebounds and4+ assists for an entire season. Durant is also on pace to become just thesecond player in NBA history (Charles Barkley; 1987-88) to average 28+points on fewer than 18 field goal attempts.

Record of Success: Since the start of the 2009-10 season, only the San Antonio Spurs (216) have claimed more victories than the OklahomaCity Thunder (205).Since Kendrick Perkins made his Oklahoma City debut in the middle of the 2010-11 season on 3/14/11 at Washington, the

    Thunder has posted a 113-43 record (.724).

A select few: During the Thunders recent outing against the L.A.Lakers (Mar. 5), Russell Westbrook recorded his team-leading 21stdouble-double of the season with 37 points to go along with 10rebounds. On the year, Westbrook is averaging 23.2 points (ranks 6thin the NBA), 5.2 rebounds, 7.5 assists (ranks 7th in NBA), 1.75 steals(ranks 9th in NBA). If Westbrook was able to maintain his 21+ point,7+ assist and 5+ rebounding averages at seasons end, he would be

joining a very select class. The chart to the right illustrates those

players to hit such benchmarks during the past 20 years.

the NBA. Oklahoma City leads the league in free throw shooting accuracy after converting at an 82.8% clip (1,661-2,007) from the charitystripe. As a point of reference, the best all-time free throw shooting percentage for an entire season in NBA history is 83.2% (Boston Celtics;1989-90). Moreover, through games played on Mar. 29, the Thunder has attempted the second most free throws in the NBA this season.During the Thunders OT win against Dallas on 1/18, Kevin Durant went a perfect 21-of-21 from the free throw line. His performancerepresented the second best free throw shooting effort in NBA history (Dominique Wilkins went 23-of-23 from the line in 1992. The Thunderhas led the NBA in free throw shooting in each of the past two seasons and during the 2010-11 season, OKC shot a league-best 82.3% from

the free throw line (5th highest percentage in NBA history). During the 2009-10 season Durant recorded 756 free throw makes, an all-time OKCThunder franchise record and the 6th most in NBA history for a single season. Durants 756 free throws made were the most for a single-seasonsince Michael Jordan recorded 833 free throw makes during the 1986-87 season. KD is the ONLY player in NBA history to convert 700+ freethrows while shooting 90.0% or better.

3X Scoring Champ: With a 28.3 point per game scoring average this season (tops inthe NBA), Kevin Durant is in search of a fourth consecutive scoring title. Afteraveraging an even 28.0 points per game last season, Kevin Durant became theseventh player in NBA history to capture three consecutive scoring crowns {MichaelJordan was the last player to win three straight scoring titles (1995-1998)}. Byclaiming back-to-back-to-back scoring titles, Durant has joined a hall-of-fame list ofNBA players to record the feat (Michael Jordan, George Gervin, Bob McAdoo, WiltChamberlain, Neil Johnston and George Mikan). During the 2009-10 season, Durantbecame the youngest scoring champion in NBA history (21 years and 197 days).

Block Party: With the vast majority of the regular season now in the rear view mirror, the Thunder is currently the top shot blocking teams inthe NBA. Led by Serge Ibakas 3.00 blocks per game (leads the NBA), OKC is averaging 7.53 blocks per game this season. Ibaka is on pace tolead the NBA in blocked shots for a third consecutive season (would join Dikembe Mutombo; 1994-98) as the only players to accomplish such afeat. When the dust finally settled last season, the Thunder not only led the NBA in blocked shots (8.17 bpg), but Oklahoma City recorded thehighest block per game total in the NBA in nearly 20 years. The 1993-94 Denver Nuggets team (8.37 bpg) was the last group to average moreblocks than last years Thunder squad. Serge Ibaka led the NBA while setting an all-time franchise record with a 3.65 block per game average

(most blocks per game since Theo Ratliff recorded 3.74 bpg during the 2000-01 season). To put a bit more perspective on Ibakasaccomplishment; with a total of 241 blocks last season, Ibaka recorded only 19 fewer blocks than the entire New Jersey Nets team. During theThunders game versus the Nuggets on 2/19, Ibaka set a franchise record by blocking 11 shots en route to his first career triple-double. On theseason Ibaka became the first player to register three 10-plus blocks games since Shawn Bradley during the 1996-97 season (five games with10+ blocks).

Russell Rules: Russell Westbrook, now in his fifth NBA season currentlymaintains the longest active games played streak in the NBA (appeared in385 straight games). In Westbrooks outing earlier this season on Dec. 7 vs.the L.A. Lakers, he recorded a career-high five made 3-point field goals and

in the first half, Westbrook posted a career-best 27 first half points. DuringWestbrooks first three full seasons in the NBA, he became one of only fiveplayers in NBA history to record 4,000 points, 1,500 assists and 1,000rebounds through three NBA seasons (Chris Paul, LeBron James, AnferneeHardaway and Oscar Robertson). By averaging better than 21+ points and8+ assists last season, Westbrook became just the FIFTH player in the last 15 years to average 21+ points and 8+ assists {Gary Payton (4x),Stephon Marbury (4x), Chris Paul (2x) and LeBron James).

Turnoversor lack thereof: During the Thunders win over the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this month (Mar. 5), the Thunder matched an all-time NBA record (which was set twice precisely) by committing just two turnovers in the game. Prior to committing just two turnovers, fiveturnovers had been the previous all-time low for the OKC franchise. On the season, Oklahoma City has gone 14-2 when committing 12 or feweturnover.

OKC is Fan Friendly:As was the case during all 33 home games during the 2011-12 season, the Thunder has registered sellouts in all 37 otheir home contests this season. This occurs on the heels of the 2010-11 season in which the Thunder sold out 14 consecutive games to closethe regular season and 35 games overall. Fans in attendance this year will once again enjoy the improvements made to the ChesapeakeEnergy Arena as part of a taxpayer funded initiative passed in March 2008. Thanks to the publically funded initiative, the teams arena boasts astate-of-the art scoreboard, new terrace suites, an updated main concourse with new concession stands, a new Sunset Lounge on the ClubLevel and a first-class courtside club.

Three for All: Through the first 73 games of the 2012-13 season, Oklahoma City is the fifth best 3-point shooting team in the NBA (37.8%531-1,405 3FGs). Thunder players Kevin Martin (ranks 9

thin NBA; 42.5%), Thabo Sefolosha (ranks 20

thin NBA; 41.2%) and Kevin Duran

    (ranks 23rd

in NBA; 40.9%) rank among the top 3-point shooters in the NBA this season. During the Thunders victory over the Clippers on1/22, the Thunder set an Oklahoma City era record by converting 15 made 3-point field goals. On two occasions this season Kevin Martin has

registered six made 3-point field goals (one shy of the OKC era record).

Boards are the Barometer:As one might expect, Oklahoma City has traditionally found its greatest success when outrebounding theopposition. So far this season, OKC is 36-7 when outrebounding the opposition (17-13 when OKC fails to outrebound opponent) and a perfect11-0 when outrebounding the opponent by 10 or more. During the 2011-12 season, Oklahoma City went 31-5 when outrebounding theopponent (12-1 when outrebounding the opponent by 10 or more). Conversely, OKC failed to outrebounded their opponent in 14 of the teams19 losses last season. During the Thunders win vs. Portland on 11/2, Kevin Durant recorded 17 rebounds, one shy of his career-best mark. Infact, Durant recorded a double-double (12 points and 10 rebounds) by halftime. Only once previously in his career had Durant posted adouble-double by halftime (OKC at PHI 03/09/2011).

Dynamic Duo: With a record of 31-12 this season when Westbrook and Durant each score 20+ points, the Thunder continues its run ofsuccess with the tandem of Durant and Westbrook leading the way. The pair earlier this season combined to score 77 points (Durant andWestbrook combined to score 47 of the Thunders 51 second half points) on 1/14, before combining to score 83 points four nights later on1/18 against Dallas (third highest combined scoring performance for the pair). Durant and Westbrook combined to score a career-best 91points on 2/19/12 (the 91 combined points is a franchise record). For a second consecutive season, the Durant and Westbrook duo is currently

the highest scoring pair of teammates in the NBA (currently averaging 51.5 points per game). The two players combined to score a total of51.6 points per game last season to become the highest scoring duo in franchise history (surpassing their own previous record of 48.2 ppgduring 2010-11). Durant and Westbrook surpassed the tandem of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade (combined 49.2 ppg) to become thehighest scoring pair of teammates in the NBA during 2011-12.

Triple Threat: In just 27 minutes of action, Kevin Durant recorded his third triple-double of the season (had never registered a triple-doublein his career prior to the 2012-13 season) on Feb. 27 vs. New Orleans with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Durants three triple-doublesthis season are tied for the second most in the NBA this season (Rajon Rondo has posted five triple-doubles and LeBron James has tallied threetriple-doubles).

Home Cooking: Prior to the Thunders home loss vs. Brooklyn on Jan. 2, Oklahoma City had reeled off 12 consecutive wins at theChesapeake Energy Arena (longest streak in the NBA at that time). Last season, the Thunder registered a 14-game home winning streak whichrepresented the longest home win streak for the OKC franchise since the 1994-95 season (17 game home win streak from 11/11/94 1/24/95). Prior to the Thunders home loss versus Cleveland on 3/9/12, more than two months had elapsed between Thunder home losses(1/3/12 vs. POR). The Thunder finished behind only Miami (28-5) and San Antonio (28-5) in the race for the NBAs best home record. So farthis season, OKC has gone 31-5 on their home floor (Through games played on Mar. 29, the Thunder maintains the fourth best home record inthe NBA).

Thunder All-Stars Shine Bright: Playing in their third and fourth All-Star games, respectively, Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant helpedlead the Western Conference All-Stars to a 143-138 victory last month in Houston. Kevin Durant led all scorers with 30 points on 13-of-24shooting. In his first four All-Star appearances, Durant has now scored a total of 115 points (most in NBA history through a players first four

All-Star appearances). Durant also became the first player in NBA history to score 30+ points in three consecutive All-Star outings. RusselWestbrook, meanwhile, registered 14 points on 7-of-13 shooting to go along with four rebounds and three assists in 18 minutes of action.

66ers Connection: Once again this season, the Thunders D-League affiliate, the Tulsa 66ers has been a vital part of the player developmentprocess for the Thunder franchise. So far this season, five Thunder players (second most D-League assignees of any NBA team this year) havebeen assigned to the 66ers (Reggie Jackson, Perry Jones, Jeremy Lamb, DeAndre Liggins & Daniel Orton). Under the direction of first yeahead-coach Darko Rajakovic, the 66ers recently won six consecutive outings and the team currently maintains a 26-20 record. Since theProfessional Basketball Club, LLC. purchased the Tulsa 66ers in 2008, Tulsa has seen 12 different Thunder players compete in at least onegame as a member of the 66ers.

Durant & Westbrook are Rolling: During a five game stretch during mid January (1/14 at PHX-1/22 at LAC), the duo of Kevin Durant (36.5ppg) and Russell Westbrook (32.2 ppg) combined to average 68.7 points per game during this primarily road stretch. During this span, Durantrecorded a career-best 52 points during the Thunders win over Dallas on Jan. 18. In the game, Durant went a perfect 21-of-21 from the freethrow line (tied for second best free throw shooting performance in NBA history; Dominique Wilkins went 23-of-23 in 1992). As a matter ofact, Durant became the first player in NBA history to record 20 made free throws in back to back outings (1/18 at DAL & 1/20 at DEN).Westbrook meanwhile, recorded 30+ points in four consecutive games (1/14 1/20) for the very first time in his career (while shooting 49.6%from the field during this five game span).

A November to Remember: The Thunder kicked-off the 2012-13 season by setting an Oklahoma City era record after compiling 13 wins inthe month of November. The 13 November wins is tied for the second most in all-time franchise history (the team went 14-3 in Nov. of 1996).Through the first month of the season, Oklahoma City finished tied with San Antonio for the most wins in the NBA. Meanwhile, OKC led theNBA during the month of November with nine home victories. Kevin Durant was named the NBAs player of the month award foOctober/November after averaging 26.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.

Awfully Good in OT: Dating back to the start of the 2010-11 season, the Oklahoma City Thunder has been incredibly successful in overtimeaffairs. Despite falling in OT to the Grizzlies on Mar. 20, Oklahoma City is 4-2 in overtime affairs this season and 15-5 in overtime games duringthe past two-plus seasons. The 15 OT wins is the most in the NBA during this span. Last season, the Thunder started 3-0 in overtime gamesbefore falling to the L.A. Lakers in double overtime on 4/22/12. During the 2010-11 season, the Thunder became just the FIFTH team in NBAhistory to win eight overtime games in a single season (8-2). OKC set an all-time franchise record by winning five straight overtime games tostart the season and the clubs eight OT wins are the most in the NBA since 2002, when the Detroit Pistons went 8-0 in their overtime contestsDuring the 2010-11 season, OKC captured the franchises first-ever triple-overtime victory (12/1/10) against New Jersey (the OKC franchisewas previously 0-4 all-time in triple overtime games).

Not Your Average Win: In a game that provided a series of Thunder Firsts, Oklahoma City secured a 114-69 victory versus the Bobcats on

Nov. 26. The 45 point margin-of-victory represented the largest in the Oklahoma City era (was later matched during the Thunders 45-pointvictory over New Orleans on 2/27). The Thunders 64-24 halftime lead over the Charlotte was the largest halftime lead in the NBA in more thantwo decades (largest halftime lead since Golden State led Sacramento 88-41 after two quarters). During the game in which the Thunder leadballooned to as many as 54 points, the Thunder set a then Oklahoma City era record by limiting Charlotte to 69 points on 29.1% shooting (23-79 FGs) in the contest.

30 it is: For a seventh time this season, the Oklahoma City tandem of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook each proceeded to score 30-pluspoints in the same game on Mar. 18 at Dallas (OKC 5-2 this season when the pair scores 30+ points). Since Durant and Westbrook beganplaying together during the 2008-09 season, the Thunder has posted an 19-7 record when the duo each scores 30 or more in the same game.

In fact, the 26 games in which both players score 30 or more, is tops in the NBA during this span.

Standing Tall: In his first season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Hasheem Thabeet is shooting 60.4% from the field (58-96 FGs). Thabeet, the tallest player in the NBA (73), recorded his first career double-double after registering a career-best 13 points to go along with 10rebounds during the Thunders win versus Charlotte on 11/26. So far this season, Thabeet has scored in double figures on three occasions(Thabeet had accomplished such a feat three times prior in his career before the 2012-13 season).

12-for-12: Prior to falling to the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier this season on Dec. 20 th, the Thunder had reeled-off 12 consecutive winsThe 12 straight wins represented the longest streak in the Oklahoma City era and the second longest streak for the franchise all-time (teamwon a franchise record 14 straight games from 2/3/96 3/5/96). During the Thunders 12-0 stretch, Oklahoma City averaged 108.6 points pergame while outscoring the opposition by an average of 13.8 points per game.

100 points/50 percent: Prior to the Thunders game vs. New Orleans on Dec. 12 in which OKC was limited to 92 points, the Thunder hadscored 100 or more points in 12 consecutive games. The 12 game run of 100+ points was the longest such streak for the franchise since the1994-95 season (scored 100+ points in 19 consecutive games). On the season, OKC has posted a 45-7 record when hitting the 100 pointplateau. Another impressive streak worth noting came to an end on Feb 12 at Utah. Prior to falling to the Jazz, OKC recorded a perfect 18-0record on the season when shooting 50.0% from the floor and an impressive 43-0 when shooting 50.0% or better dating back to the 2010-11season. The Thunders 43-0 streak had been the longest in the NBA. OKC is now 24-1 when shooting 50.0% or better this season.

FT Rarity at Mile High: Despite falling to the Nuggets in Denver on Jan. 20, the tandem of Durant and Westbrook became just the third setof teammates in the last 40 seasons to combine for at least 35 made free throws (35-38 FTs) in a game. Of the three sets, Durant andWestbrook recorded the highest percentage (92.1). John Stockton and Karl Malone combined to make 35 free throws during the 1989-90season and Kevin Johnson and Tom Chambers combined to make 40 free throws during the same 1989-90 season as well.

Happy New Year: For a fifth consecutive season, the Oklahoma City Thunder claimed a New Years Eve victory on their home floor. With aperfect 5-0 mark on New Years Eve, the Thunder have defeated the Phoenix Suns in each of the last two seasons and in the years prior, OKCnotched New Years Eve wins over Atlanta, Utah and Golden State.

Good Company: During the first three games of the season, Kevin Durant recorded 22+ points, 12+ rebounds and 5+ assists in each of histhree outings. Durant joins Oscar Robertson (1961-62), Sidney Wicks (1972-73) and Kevin Garnett (2007-08) to become one of only fouplayers in NBA history to open the season with those specific benchmarks through three games.

Mid Season Notables: Oklahoma City set a season-high with 31 assists in back-to-back games on 11/16 at New Orleans and then again on11/18 vs. Golden State. The 62 combined assists in consecutive outings is an Oklahoma City era record (The Thunder had never previouslycombined to tally more than 56 assists in a two game stretch since the 2008-09 season). During the Thunders outing versus the WashingtonWizards (Jan. 7) Serge Ibaka set a career-high with 26 points on 12-of-17 shooting. Also, earlier this season, Ibaka logged back-to-back 20point scoring efforts for the first time in his career (11/8-11/9). Additionally, Ibaka became the first player in franchise history to record two or

more blocked shots in the first 13 games of the season. It is also worth notingKevin Durant opened this season with three double-doubles(never before has the sixth year forward accomplished such a feat to open the season). So far this season, Durant has recorded 17 double-doubles, including three triple-doubles.
