Narrative• The victim has been kidnapped and bound to a

chair then locked in a isolated shed. Isolation is a generic thriller convention and the feeling of being trapped also conveys this.

• The antagonist is coming back to torture the victim and threaten her with the knife.

• We have a small sub-genre of horror and this can make our thriller more exciting and build more suspension as well as appealing to a wider audience

LocationThe Drama shed located near the Tennis Courts within the school premises.

The small greenery area with trees and a path

To be filmed in the evening after school to create a sense of eeriness. Also because the night and dark colours are generic thriller conventions and can support our sub-genre of horror also with enigma.

This is where the shed is located

This pale blue line charts the path the antagonist (Jacob) will walk

Cast ListJacob Gregory- Villain/Antagonist

• We chose to use Jacob because he is a male and is a more ruthless character and comes across as more likely to inflict pain on others in comparison to our other cast member Reece who is a shy quiet character

Amy Crouch- Victim

• We chose to use Amy because she is a female and female characters in thriller films tend to be more vulnerable. This complies to generic thriller conventions and also as a feminine fatale

Props

The Duct tape is used to cover the victims mouth to restrain them from speaking, we use this to show the audience that she have no power or control

Used by: Amy

We are using the rope to up the victim to the chair to give the impression of that the victim is trapped and can not escape. She is therefore subject to the antagonist

Used by: Amy

The chair is an essential prop as it in aid in securing the victim showing that she is trapped

The knife will be held by the villain and shown throughout the shots. This makes the audience think about what the knife will be used for and adds enigma

Used by: Jacob

The torch will be already located in the shed and then it will be used to light up the victim when tied to the chair. The torch may be able to give light in the form of “hope” in dark times

The key will be used to signify the unlocking of the door and the starting of the overall thriller

Production Schedule• We need to make sure that our torch has enough

power to produce a significant amount of lighting. We will do this by changing the batteries on the 24th of November to ensure the light works.

• We will also charge our camera before and after using it to ensure we have enough charge to be able to film our production. We will do this on the 17th and 24th of November before the shooting of the production

• Amy will pre prepare her costume by adding fake blood and cutting it up, to make the audience think she has been treated badly in the past
