The table shows that the top 5 films all have something in common that is that they all have a big cliff-hanger which brings up the suspense levels. This graph shows that Thriller/suspense films are the fourth most popular genre within the film industry. It also shows that females over the age of 35 are more likely to watch a thriller film then a woman under the age of 35. It then looks at the psychographic grouping and shows that the C1 Category are more likely to watch a thriller film then that of the A/B category.

In doing this research it has shown me that in order to make a successful thriller film I need to make sure that I build up enough suspense but not too much. There is a lien between enough suspense and too much suspense. I need to make sure that I entice my audience in and they are fully involved with the storyline. In order for me to achieve this there are multiple things that I need to do, one of those things is that I make the storyline follow able. If the story is too complex people will get confused to the point where they are bored and they feel no need to watch the movie anymore due to the fact that they understand nothing that is going on.
