A Narrative Story
The Three Little Pigs
The Three Little Pigs
The Three Little Pigs
There once lived three little pigs. They lived in a small village at
the edge of a deep dark forest.
Orientation
The green pig was always in a rush. He built his house out of
straw.

The red pig was a very cheerful pig. He built his house out of
sticks.

The blue pig was a very hard worker. He built his house out
of bricks.

Then one day the Big Bad Wolf saw the Three Little Pigs playing
near edge of the forest.

The Big Bad Wolf had huge brown eyes and sharp pointy ears. He looked very cranky
and hungry.
The pigs saw the wolf creeping closer towards them. They
screamed, and ran home as fast as their legs would take them.
Event/Problem
The Big Bad Wolf chased the Three Little Pigs back to the
village. He stopped at the house made of straw.
Problem
The Big Bad Wolf said, “Little Pig, Little Pig let me in”. The pig replied “Not by
the hair on my chinny chin chin !” So he huffed, and he puffed and blew the
house down.
Problem
The Green Pig ran away as fast as he could. He ran to the
house made of sticks.

The Big Bad Wolf followed the pig to the house made of sticks. He said “Little Pig, Little Pig let me in”. The Red Pig replied
“Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin !” So he huffed, and he puffed and blew the
house down.
The Green and Red pig were very scared. They ran as fast as they could to the house made of bricks.

The Big Bad Wolf followed the pig to the house made of bricks. He said “Little Pig, Little Pig let me in”. The Blue Pig replied, “Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin !” So he huffed, and he puffed and he huffed
and puffed, but nothing happened!
Event/Problem
He kept huffing and puffing for hours, but the house was very strong. The walls did not move.
The pigs were safe inside.
Resolution
The hungry, cranky wolf was tired so he finally gave up. He decided to go back to the forest to find his
dinner somewhere else.
Resolution
The pigs were safe! They were very relieved. The wolf would not
bother them in a strong brick house.
The whole village built strong and sturdy brick houses.
The wolf never bothered them again.
