Three little birds as happy as can be,

Lived with their mother at the top of a tree.

As they slept she began to sigh,

She knew soon she would have to say goodbye.

Morning rose and the birds awoke,

The birds were hungry, so they spoke

Mother were hungry bring us something to eat. The mother replied today you will have to find your own meat.

Why wont she get us food?

So hungry...

The birds stood at the edge of the tree,

One said, you two will never fly better than me!

Im the best flyer!

But as he flew he fell to the floor,

The birds could not see him anymore.

Ouch!!

She flew from the tree and the mother dashed,

She searched and found him under some leaves his head was bashed.

But in his beak was a worm, very small,

The mother laughed you really did beat them after all!
