Now You Know—August 2018
Six tour groups (totaling nearly 200 campers) from the J.A. Walters YMCA visited the History Center & the Quinlan Visual Arts Center this past mouth as a part of our joint Adventure Time program. At the Quinlan, the campers went on an art scavenger hunt and described art pieces using Morse code! Here at the History Center, they learned all about the deerskin trade of the 18th century, toured the Whitepath Cabin, and gained first-hand experience at corn grinding! Adventure Time is made possible by our Ivester Education Fund.
