• Shadow puppets- Normally 2 dimensional

in nature, controlled by rods that are much thinner than the rod puppet, make use of translucent screen and a light source.

• Rod puppets- They are flat cut figures

tacked to a stick, with one or more movable parts, and operated from below the stage level by wire rods.

hand like glove, head is operated by forefinger of the puppeteer.
