This World Is Not My Home
This world is not my home
I’m just passing through
my treasures are laid up
somewhere beyond the
blue.
The angels beckon me
from Heaven’s open door
and I can’t feel at home
in this world anymore.
O Lord you know I have
no friend like you if
heaven’s not my home
then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon
me from heaven’s open
door and I can’t feel at
home in this world
anymore.
They’re all expecting me
and that’s one thing I
know. My savior
pardoned me and now
I onward go.
I know He’ll take
me through though I am
weak and poor and I can’t
feel at home in this world
anymore.
O Lord you know I have
no friend like you if
heaven’s not my home
then lord what will I do?
The angels beckon
me from Heaven’s open
door and I can’t feel at
home in this world
anymore.
Just up in Glory Land
we’ll live eternally. The
saints on every hand are
shouting victory.
Their song of sweetest
praise drifts back from
heaven’s shore and I can’t
feel at home in this world
anymore.
O Lord you know I have
no friend like you if
heaven’s not my home
then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon
me from Heaven’s open
door and I can’t feel at
home in this world
anymore.

MESSIANIC PROPHECIES
In one day, no fewer than 29 Messianic prophecies were fulfilled;
all of which were spoken 500 or more years earlier!
At least 60 major Old Testamentprophecies were fulfilled; all
Of which were made 400 yearsbefore His birth.
“The only acceptable atonement
for sin is Christ's death.”
The logical arguments: The Probability FactorIs it possible that the details of Jesus' life just happened to coincide with all of those Old Testament prophecies?
The probability of just EIGHT prophecies being fulfilled is 1 in 10 to the seventeenth power! (1 followed by 17 zeros) Peter Stoner - American Scientific Affiliation
“Life Change”
“If we truly believe that the only acceptable atonement for sin is
Christ's death”…We will:"Realize that you and I were on the mindand within the heart of a loving God theday that Jesus sacrificed himself on thecross.""As alone as you may feel at times in your lifeyou are not forgotten by God."
“Life Change”
“If we truly believe that the only acceptable atonement for sin is
Christ's death”…
We will:3. Pattern our lives so that they reflect the love God has bestowed on us.4. Find purpose and true joy in living, despite the circumstances.
Two Dimensions of God's Love
God's love sacrifices...Comfort - the planting of sacrificial love in another person reaps the harvest of joy.Possessions - giving has nothing to do with wealth.Time - "a gift is an excuse for notgiving yourself" Emerson
Two Dimensions of God's LoveGod's love affirms..."Dealing with difficulties goes with the territory of living life as a human"."We don't have to understand exactly what a person is going through in
order to give them affirming love."
