We are offering two free evening workshops:
Cooking on a budget – hints and tips
Store cupboard essentials – what do you need to rustle up tasty meals Menu planning – how to make expensive ingredients stretch to a few meals
Change to taste some samples See how easy it can be with a food demonstration
What can you learn from the labels on food?
The sessions will be run twice:
Group 1: Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 May 6-9pm
Group 2: Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 June 6-9pm

Centenary Anniversary of the start of
“The War to End All Wars” 1914—1918
History, Poetry and Story Books about the First World War are on display in, and can be borrowed from, the School Library.
8 Book Challenge Join the DGS reading group and take the 8 book challenge.
First meeting of the group is Thursday 8th May at
lunchtime in the school library. Bring along a packed lunch. The meeting starts at 1.25pm. The 8 book challenge is to read and talk about some or all of the books nominated for this year’s Carnegie Children’s Book Awards, post reviews and blog on our part of the shadowing website.
