If this is your first time at St. John’s, we invite you to come to the Information Center in the Worship Center Lobby be-tween services. We’d like to meet you and we have a special gift for you.

Nursery (Age 0 to 35 months) is available during the services. Our nursery is located in the Lobby to the left of the Worship Center.

Sunday School (Age 3 years through 6th grade) Parents! Via de Cristo Retreat Weekend Via de Cristo is a three-day spiritual retreat weekend in alignment with St. John’s

Mission to Love•Learn•Lead, designed to strengthen and renew our faith and bring us to a fresh awareness of living in God’s grace and is open to everyone over 18. Leading the next weekend, October 3-6, is St. John’s member, Nancy Acquaviva, and our own Pastor D. Stephen Ministry Training On Saturday, October 12, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the

Event Center, St. John’s will host a Stephen Ministry Introductory Workshop. Topics will include “Ministering to Those Experiencing Grief” and “How to Care in a Distinctively Christian Way” and there is no cost for St. John’s members to attend. Boar’s Head Christmas Festival! In October, the second half of Wednesday night choir rehearsals (7-7:45 p.m.) will be dedicated to learning

Boar’s Head Festival (BHF) music. We invite anyone who doesn’t sing with the choir regularly to join us for BHF. Please arrive by 7:00 p.m., beginning Wednesday October 2. The door will be open to the Music Room prior to 7:00 p.m., after choir has rehearsed Sunday worship music. The Music Room is located in the back parking lot directly behind the Worship Center. St. John’s Board of Directors We are seeking nominations for the election of three members to serve on the Board of

Directors. Nominees should be voting members in good standing who also display spiritual wisdom and discernment. Congregational members may submit names of possible candidates to the church office or to the Chair, Bill Elliott. The election will be at the Congregational Meeting on December 8.
