The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

OPPORTUNITIES

4th

Sunday Hunger/UMCOR: Water & Sanitation & Hygiene Water, Sanitation and Hygiene are essential for good health and well-being.

668 million people around the world do not have reliable access to clean drinking water. 1.8 billion lack adequate toilets. The lack of these basic services results in 1,000 chil- dren dying a day. Many of these deaths would be preventable with ac-cess to clean water. Dig deep! August Pantry: Juice Boxes for Kids’ Food Basket 900-1000 sack sup- pers go out of Kids’ Food Basket every day. This is only possi-ble because of dona- tions. The Mission Team has chosen 100% juice boxes for this month’s donation. Since they are housed in our lower level, it is easy for us to transport our gifts to them. We are setting the goal at 250 juice boxes. We can do it! - Paul Webster speaking: Aug. 29th, 7 p.m. - Labyrinth at St. Paul’s: Sept. 9, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. - Men’s Prayer Breakfast at CUMC: Sept. 9, 9:30 a.m. - CROP Walk: Oct. 1, 12 noon - Church Conference right after Oct.1st service - Organ Recital: Oct. 8, 3 p.m.

We have openings for Altar Flowers during 2017. October 1,15 and November 12 are open. Call the Church Office

to find out options that might work for you. Flowers always help beautify our sanctuary and enhance the service.
