Volume 15 April 15, 2018 Beaumont, TX Dear Church Family, Here it is June already! My how time is flying by! Soon it will be time to think about the holidays! But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Have you ever been in a situation where you were looking to make a big change in your life or a big decision? You prayed about it, did your research and God seemed to be saying “Go for it!” So, you stepped out on faith and did it. Now there seems to be radio silence from God. You’ve not received any more signs that you are going in the right direction. Maybe things are even starting to go wrong. So, what do you do now? That’s a really difficult question. I’ve been it this exact same situation mul- tiple times in my life. All I can tell you is to wait upon the Lord. God’s time is not our time. God may not show up exactly when we want Him too, but it will always be right on time. Isaiah 40:31 gives us this hope: But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. The issue here is not really if and when God will show up. We know God is faithful and will always be with us. The issue is how do we respond to the wait- ing? Do we respond with faith and hope or do we respond with doubting and despair? Do we wait with joy and anticipation or sadness and complaining? I try to wait upon the Lord with hope, faith and joy, but it isn’t always easy. When we have these low times we need to simply keep our eyes on Jesus and He will get us through. Blessings, Pastor Beth

Dear Church Family, Here it is June already! My how time is flying by! Soon it will be time to think about the holidays! But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Summer is upon us and the Worship Ministry

Vacation Bible School!! MARK YOUR CALENDARS!! We will be having a weekend Vacation Bi-ble School Aug. 3,4, and 5, 2018. We will need people to help with crafts, music, stories, and games. We will also need people to help herd kids through the activities. If you are more of a behind the scenes type person, we also need people to help decorate, organize, and make snacks. No special skills are neces-sary. We just need people that love God and want to teach kiddos about God’s love. We are also looking for a photographer and are col-lecting old t-shirts!
