The 65th Annual Meeting of Members will take place "live" on Facebook, Thursday, June 16th. In late May, all members will receive the Annual Meeting booklet in the mail with their member number above the postal delivery name and address. Please read the booklet and cast your vote by Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Below are options to cast a member vote:1. Visit www.nemr.net and click on the Member Vote link. Enter your member number, vote and submit your vote. 3. If you aren't familiar with the internet, please call one of our customer service representatives at 660-874-4111. The Director nominating committee had a conference call at 6:00 pm on April 13, 2022, with Stan Varner, Zone 1; Larry Stephenson, Zone 1; Rob Monroe, Zone 2; and General Manager Michele Gillespie present. Rob Monroe made a motion for Stan Varner to act as Chairman of the committee and General Manager Michele Gillespie to act as recording secretary for the minutes. Larry Stephenson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.General Manager Michele Gillespie informed the Committee of the incumbent Board Members who are seeking reelection. Incum-bents are Zone 1, Dennis Fechtling, Novinger; Zone 1, Rick Kent, Green City, and Zone 2, Kenny Hauk, Arbela. After discussion of the applicants for Board Member nominees of Northeast Missouri Rural Telephone Company, the following were selected: Stan Varner nominated Dennis Fechtling for Zone 1. Larry Stephenson nominated Rick Kent for Zone 1. Rob Monroe nominated Kenny Hauk for Zone 2. Larry Stephenson made a motion which was seconded by Rob Monroe that nominations cease, and that these nominees be accepted as candidates for election to the Board of Directors of Northeast Missouri Rural Telephone Company. Motion carried unanimously. Stan Varner made a motion that the meeting adjourn. Rob Monroe seconded the motion which carried unanimously.
