Simply put, “business” is about making someone’s life better.

That’s all business will ever be. The further away a business gets from making its customers’ lives better, the less successful that business will be.

WHAT TO LOOK FORIN A PRODUCT OR SERVICE

Selecting the right product or service for your business

At the heart of a successful business is a product or service that people truly need or want. The most profit-able business is one that has a product that is unique and consumable—or, a service that is unique and renewable.

Having a “unique” product means that the customer can only acquire it from you. For example, why do you go to your favorite restaurant? Why is it your favorite? Because you can’t get that type of food anywhere else. That con-cept carries over to all business - if you want to be succesful, it’s important to make sure you have unique products.

“Consumable” means that the cus-tomer uses and reorders the prod-uct on a regular basis. This is a key

component of creating wealth.

“Renewable,” similar to consum-able, means the customer re-news their service with you on a regular or consistent basis.

Your time versus a product

When thinking about owning your own business, it’s wise to consider whether you want to sell “you” or sell a product. If you decide you want to cut hair as a business (sell you), consider that there is a limited amount of time in a day — you cannot personally cut enough people’s hair to ever create wealth.

Yet, a product can be manufactured millions of times. Therefore, if you want to create wealth, it would be far bet-ter to sell shampoo than to cut hair.

Introduce your product or service at the right time

One of the most critical elements in starting a successful business is TIMING. You don’t just need great products, you also need to introduce them at the right time.

The “right time” is created by supplying a product or service to a large and expanding group of people - a phenomenon that we all know as a “trend.” When thinking about starting a business, it’s helpful to consider what the trends are and how you can use them to your benefit.

For instance, the most significant group of people creating trends in the marketplace today is the Baby Boom

generation. Who is the Baby Boom generation? Well, immediately following WWII, the men returned from war and started families. Between 1946 and 1964, seventy-six million babies were born in the USA, and one billion babies worldwide. That was an eighteen-year “boom” in population growth.

Why is the Baby Boom generation so significant to business owners? Because the “Baby Boomers” are not only the largest group of people in the world, they also control approximately 65% of all the money in the world. So gearing your business towards the Baby Boomers is a great way to position your business for success.

To help you visualize the economic impact of Baby Boomers, picture a basketball (the Boomers) moving through a garden hose (the economy).

Here are a few examples of how much the Baby Boomers have impacted trends in the past. The first trend? Baby food. Gerber became a household name by supplying baby food to this large group of new babies. From there - toys (Mattel, Hasbro), music (Rolling Stones), cars (Ford Mustang), fast food (McDonalds), homes (Century 21) and then healthcare. DO THE WORK YOURSELFOR HIRE OTHERS?

After you’ve chosen a good product and are in front of large, growing trends, the next important decision to make in owning your own business is whether you plan to do it all yourself or hire others.

Every business owner runs into the trap of trying to do it all. If you do this, you will eventually run out of the time and/or knowledge that you need to keep up.

The first thought is normally to hire an employee, which is certainly better than trying to do it all yourself. But hiring employees can itself cause business failure. Why? Firstly, you don’t know that the employee you hire will

actually work. Secondly, you don’t know if the employee will earn the company more money than they cost.

In the early stages of a business, the owner very often pays their employees the money that they should be using to advertise and grow the business.

The solution is to hire representatives instead of employees, because with representatives, you only pay them when they actually produce something.

Let’s look at how the real estate industry uses representatives instead of employees.

A real estate broker hires an agent or representative (not an employee).

The representative (or rep) sells a home and earns a percentage of the sales price of the home and so does the broker.

Shouldn’t it be that way? The broker trains the reps and provides a place for them to do business.

The critical difference between reps and employees is that reps only get paid when they actually sell something, while employees get paid whether they sell something or not.

And if you hire an employee, you pay them whether they help your business or not.

If the real estate broker wants to earn more money, he simply hires more reps.

The problem with both employees and reps is that when they want to become brokers (or own their own business), they leave the company and become competitors to the original broker (or business owner) who trained them. The problem of reps

breaking away to become brokers (competitors) is com-

pounded as more and more reps do the same. This is why there are so many

different real estate companies today.

There is a solution to this problem.

Instead of allowing the reps you train to break away and start their own businesses, why not allow them to become brokers in YOUR company?

With your reps becoming brokers in your company, you won’t continue to receive a 3% commission from all their sales - it will be less. But you will still

be earning revenue from their sales, and this strategy will encourage the reps to remain with your company.

With your reps becoming brokers in your company, hiring other reps, and training them to be brokers, you would keep all of your satisfied customers and have a constant source of new business.

LONG-TERM RULE: If you employ others (either as employees or as reps), the only way to retain them is to offer them the same amount to gain as you have. You do this by allowing them to become brokers in your company and own their own business.

If you don’t allow them this opportunity, there is a good chance that they will someday break away and become your competition, especially if they are talented.

By letting them become brokers in your company, you still earn revenue from their business, but they get to be business owners too. Everyone wins!

If you got 20 customers and taught your rep to get 20 customers, you’d now have 40 customers buying your product.

It’s very important to make sure that your reps are capable of bringing in their own customers as well as finding other reps who

know how to bring in customers.

They are now building “their own business” within your business. And they have as much to gain as you do.

The Activ8 Compensation Plan identifies and overcomes the industry’s most prevalent concerns and creates incomparable income potential.

Membership Types

When someone joins ARIIX, they will always start as an ARIIX Member, which allows them to receive a discount on their product purchases, as well as earn product credit towards future purchases. When an ARIIX Member earns a minimum of $30 in credit within a week, they are now able to become an ARIIX Representative* and earn income based upon their activity within the Activ8 Compensation Plan.

IIX Membership

Each new ARIIX Member has an opportunity to acquire or purchase a IIX Membership; this opportu-nity is only available to new ARIIX Members. This membership entitles them to double their product discount through the ARIIX Auto Delivery Program, as well as double their earnings from all “Bonuses” within the Activ8 Compensation Plan when they become an ARIIX Representative. A IIX Member-ship is the critical first step to maximizing the Ac-tive8 Compensation Plan. Watch for the “IIX Perks” described throughout the Activ8 Compensation Plan to see all of the additional benefits this membership affords ARIIX Representatives.

Retail Profits

All ARIIX Representatives and Members are given the opportunity to purchase the life-changing ARIIX product line at a discounted wholesale price, and retail the same product at the suggested retail

price. The difference between the price purchased and the price sold becomes profit for the ARIIX Representative. IIX Perk: Double the discount from the already discounted Auto Delivery price, increasing the potential Retail Profit

significantly. Base Commissions

After activating their first Income Position with at least 150 points of product volume (PV), ARIIX Representatives who remain Active will have the opportunity to build their organization in a truly revolutionary and profitable way. Each Income Po-sition will start with 2 lines which they are allowed to enroll new ARIIX Members in. As their business grows they will have the opportunity to add ad-ditional teams or lines to the same Income Position. Each of these teams is able to generate significant volume, and the largest of these teams is identified as the Power Line. This permits all other lines to be identified as Pay Lines.

Base Commissions provides a 15% commission on all accumulated Product Volume (PV) within all Pay Lines. As each Pay Line generates the potential

of $2,000 in Base Commissions, the ability to add a new Pay Line to the Income Position is granted; permitting for an unlimited potential number of Pay Lines per Income Position. In addition to this, the ARIIX Representative will also be given the option of operating a new Income Position within the Pay Line which reached the optimized $2,000 in Base Commissions, allowing for continued support and additional earnings from the depths of that organization.

The Activ8 Base Commission model provides the ability to build your organization infinitely wide and infinitely deep.

Team Lead Bonus

The qualifying Representative at Team Lead or above, with at least four Active Personally Sponsored ARIIX Members in their team will earn an additional $33.75. IIX Perk: By having a IIX Membership, the earning ARIIX Representa-tive will double this bonus, giving them $67.50 and virtually ensure that their business will pay for the exceptional health provided by the ARIIX Product Line.

Becoming an ARIIX Representative requires a minimum of $30 in earnings within a week, and a completed ap-plication, including agreement to the Policies and Procedures which pertain directly to Representative Status.

Active status is determined by accumulating a minimum of 75 points in product volume within the previous four week period.

Gold Status

Representatives who enroll four new ARIIX Members (with 75 PV minimum) wihin their first 8 weeks, OR who maintain a minimum of four Active Personally Sponsored Members who receive an Auto-Delivery, will qualify for their first three gen-erations of Matching Bonus through achieving Gold Member Status. Gold Member Status will also have many other advantages, which will be announced at a future date.

Matching Bonus

The Matching Bonus gives the ARIIX Representative a matching percentage on the Base Commission earnings of their enrollment organization up to 7 Generations deep. This bonus is paid with a Gen-erational Compression which ensures a deep reach into the Representative’s enrollment organization. IIX Perk: Double the matching percentage on all qualified Generations (graphic reflects IIX Membership).

Pay Line Bonus

Every ARIIX Representative will receive shares towards 1% of the Total Company Volume for the commission period, with each additional optimized Pay Line (earning $2000) after their first. One share of this Bonus is issued for the second optimized Pay Line, an addition two shares are issued for a third optimized line (totaling three), and three shares for the fourth optimized Pay Line (totally six). There is no limit to the amount of shares a Representative may earn in this bonus. IIX Perk: Double your earned shares within this Bonus.

Income Position Bonus

As Representatives begin to optimize their Income Positions (with at least one Pay Line generating $2000 in Base Commissions), they will begin to participate in the Income Position Bonus which contains 2% of the Total Company Volume. Shares are issued for each optimized Income Position a Representative has within that week; one share for their first optimized Income Position, two shares for their second (totaling three), and three shares for their third (totaling six). There is no limit to the amount of Income Positions that can be optimized, and therefore not limited to the amount of shares that can be earned in this Bonus. IIX Perk: Double your earned shares within this Bonus.

Luxury Car Bonus

Beginning with Director, ARIIX Representatives will begin to accumulate points for each week they qualify at their respective rank. Those points are accumulated until a reasonable down payment is achieved (six months), and then they are cashed out monthly towards the drive of a lifetime. IIX Perk: Earn twice the points towards a Luxury Car.

Rank & Promotions

Within the Activ8 Compensation Plan all titles and leadership ranks are determined by the amount of earnings generated with the ARIIX Representative’s Base Commission for a given Commission Period. Earn more - be more in the Activ8 Compensation Plan.

In every business and in every profession, good communication is the key to gaining customers.

Communication is a learned skill that is required in nearly everything you do. Every minute spent - and every penny spent - learning to communicate more effectively will be well worth the investment.

As you have probably noticed, in every type of business, there are good communicators who do things in a professional, first-class way and there are others who come across as abrasive or unprofessional.

Professionalism comes down to doing the right thing for the customer. Sometimes the right thing is NOT selling your product or service to a

Owning a business that uses the broker/rep system allows you to create more wealth than you could if you tried to do all the work yourself.

For example, if the maximum number of hours a person can work in a day is 24 and the maximum number of days a person can work in a year is 365, then the maximum number of hours a person can work in a year is 8,760.

24 hours per day x 365 days =

8,760 hours per year

However, if you earned a percentage on the work of 100 people who each worked 8 hours per day for a year, you would be paid on 292,000 hours! Far more than you could ever possibly do yourself.
