Everyone enjoyed gift bags featuring raspberry, rhubarb-strawberry and juneberry syrups from Pride Dairy in Bottineau. Kids bounced, slid and climbed on a variety of inflatables and tried their hand at games. Dizzy and Cloudy the Clowns were on hand creating balloon animals, and kids could take a break for a quick serving of apple juice or cotton candy before heading off to the next attraction. People danced to the JMB Band and enjoyed music from Highway 43 prior to the Business Meeting. SRT CEO Steve Lysne discussed challenges the cooperative has faced in the past year, including recovery from the 2011 Mouse River flood and the FCC’s Broadband for America Plan. The meeting concluded with prize giveaways including $500 cash and a 2-night stay at Minot’s Sleep Inn, as well as many others.
