WHO WE ARE

Warehouse Studios is a full-service recording studio loaded with new and vintage gear. We house a collective of Jacksonville-based Indie bands and work with CRUSHEDBLACK Productions to create live, in-studio performance videos. We are looking to expand to mobile recording and release a series of compilation cds showcasing the talent of the Jacksonville music scene.

HISTORY

Warehouse Studios was first opened in the 1970s by owner, Tom Markham. The small studio handled some of the first recordings of such legendary bands such as Lynryd Skynyrd and Molly Hatchet.

Now owned by Ryan & Angela Turk, the studio has become a sanctuary for the local independent music scene of Jacksonville, offering affordable practice space and recording to local bands.

WHAT WE NEED

We need funding so we can expand our business through the acquisition of CD Printing and Duplication equipment. Once acquired, we will use this equipment to put out a compilation CD of local bands entitled, “This is the Warehouse Sound.”

WHY IT’S IMPORTANT

In addition to showcasing the talent of Warehouse Studios Artists, the CD’s will also include recordings from local High School bands. These compilations will be recorded and distributed for free by Warehouse Studios.
