RE: McCord for Congress, POB 512, Anacortes, Wa 98221Washington State 2nd Conqressional District

I would like to request the Federal Election Commission toinvestigate the 1990 McCord for Congress Campaign for failure toreport receipts and expenditures. Although the candidate lostthe 1990 election, he is planning to pursue another campaign inWashington State.

I have supplied two newspaper articles which cite campaignfunds raised by the McCord Campaign. An October 27, 1990 afrlein the Skagit Valley Herald Quotes McCord Campaign MAanagr LeeWoofenden, of Anacortes Washington, as having said ... has raise$9721, mostly from libertarians, .... A follow-up article site a$9000 figure as well.

In addition to the newspaper articles, I have supplied ansvpper advertisment that ran in several newspapers inW it Ste. Upon request, I can provide evidence of

Uns yard signs, flyers, and television advertisits whichwould sggeot that the McCord Campaign spent funds in exces ofwhat they have claimed to have raised.

The pertinent question of how much did they spend can not beanswered because of McCord for Congress's unwillingness to fileany reports with your Agency.

I appreciate your attention to this matter.
