1 SEPTEMBER 2017 THIS IS SOUTH JERSEY WITH MARIANNE ALEARDI Publisher and editor-in-chief of SJ Magazine Marianne Aleardi takes viewers through the people and places that make South Jersey such a great place to live and visit. In the fourth season’s premiere, Marianne ventures to shearing day on the alpaca farm before heading to the Burlington County Prison Museum. She joins her husband for a special pasta-making class in the cooking teacher’s very own kitchen and stops in Collingswood to learn how to decorate a cake at DiBartolo’s Bakery — although clearly, her talent is eating the cake. Upcoming episodes profile 17th century scandals at Smithville Historic Park and the sweet sounds of harmony at the Regional Barbershop Chorus competition in Cherry Hill. ©2015 PUBLIC MEDIA NJ, INC. Much of that reporting has been spent covering New Jersey politics, thus his nickname amongst colleagues of “Dean of the Trenton Statehouse Press Corps.” Aron has interviewed every New Jersey governor, state Supreme Court chief justice and legislative leader, plus a number of presidential candidates, during his 40+ year tenure as a journalist. He has covered national political conventions, trade missions abroad and all the major political issues of the state. When it comes to stories, Aron likes to say, “If you’re a journalist, New Jersey never lets you down.” That gives him plenty to talk about each week with newsmakers in On The Record and news-breakers in Reporters Roundtable. Both series kick off new seasons on September 9. This season, the race for Governor, the trial of a US Senator, the end days of a two-term governor, and the fiscal affairs of the state will likely take center stage. But as Aron admits, “You never really know what’s coming down the pike in New Jersey politics. Someone loses an election or is forced to vacate a seat and a game of musical chairs begins. The number of competing agendas in the state is as large as the number of players. It never ceases to be interesting.” Also look for Aron’s insight as he continues his reporting duties on the network’s weeknight newscast, NJTV News with Mary Alice Williams and NJTV’s broadcast of the Lieutenant Governor’s debate on October 16, 2017. Follow Aron on-air and on social media @MichaelAronNJTV and join the conversation surrounding his weekly shows #ReportersRoundtableNJTV and #OntheRecordNJTV.

Father Brown cycles back on screen to solve more mysteries in the sleepy Cotswold village of Kembleford, not just meting out justice, but saving souls. Doctor Lucien Blake returns to Ballarat after a failed bid to reunite with his long lost daughter, and is confronted by strange and baffling murders in every corner – in the church, politics, art and rock ‘n’ roll.
