• Cannot call before 8 am and after 9 pm• Harass or abuse you in any way• Lie about or imply you have committed a
crime if you do not pay them• Conceal their identity
If you rights have been violated• You have the right to sue
Fair Credit Billing Act Error on you bill
• Call creditor and inquire about error• Follow up with letter within 60 days after it
first appears on bill • Creditors have to respond within 90 days
Remove error Or explain why it is correct
Only applies to revolving credit
Fair Credit Reporting Act Gives you the right to 1 free credit
