YOU HELPED US Meet Needs
Things you need to know about the
Fresno Mission!
For over 70 years the Mission has
been serving the physical and
spiritual needs of our area’s destitute.
Initially, the Mission worked only
with Skid Row alcoholics and
transient farm laborers. As time
passed, the Mission has developed
into the multipurpose organization
that it is today. We currently reach
out to not only the homeless, but also
those who are drug and alcohol
dependent, impoverished families,
neglected and abused children, single
transient adults, and other displaced
persons in the greater Fresno County
area.
Services & Programs
Restaurants, Service Groups, Churches,
Businesses, or Organizations … partner with the
FRESNO MISSION
to serve those in need.
Our Bring-A-Meal (BAM) program
serves meals for Mission guests
while providing a life-changing
service opportunity for community
groups.
We partner with groups of all sizes,
including churches, restaurants,
families, and corporations. Organize
groups of 5 to 10 volunteers to bring
and serve a meal. Special
arrangements must be made with the
BAM Coordinator for volunteer
groups that consist of over 10
people. Our trained kitchen staff is
available to help you plan and cook
your meal.
Experience the Gift:
1. Choose the specific meal you’d like to
serve (Breakfast, lunch, or dinner for
100 to 400 people).
2. Plan, purchase the food, prepare and
serve the meal in one of our kitchen
facilities (Downtown or at Rescue the
Children).
3. Enjoy this delicious meal with our
guests or program participants!
What’s Your Specialty?
Our guests love special meals
themed for a holiday or just for fun!
Put on a luau or Mexican fiesta,
offer to host a good old-fashioned
southern BBQ, or bring in music and
dessert. Your group can design the
entire dining experience for our
guests.
“Give back to our community and feel good
helping.” Kateesha - Priceless Social Club
“We came thinking it was such a small thing
we could do… letting people experience just
a taste of the Big Fresno Fair with popcorn
and corn dogs. What we found were polite,
grateful people who made us feel so
blessed. The benefit was interacting with
the people we served. We look forward to
returning each year just to see their faces!”
Mark - Yosemite Concessions
