Terminals ENOC established Horizon Terminals Limited to consolidate its existing terminalling investments and expand the business globally. RECENT DEVELOPMENTS In 2015, the volume of sales of crude oil and petroleum products reached a historic high surpassing 220 million barrels, reflecting an increase of 16% over the previous year. In 2015, over 85 million people visited ENOC/ EPPCO service stations across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. ENOC won the honour for Best Education Improvement at the CSR Excellence Awards for its National Development Programme and its outstanding work on nurturing new talent. ENOC was honoured as best Semi- Government Supporting Entity to the Government Procurement Programme at the ninth “Mohammed Bin Rashid Award for Young Business Leaders”. ENOC commenced a solar photovoltaic panel pilot project aiming to reduce carbon emissions and achieve over 50% savings in energy consumption at individual service stations. In 2016, ENOC announced the installation of ten electrical vehicle charging stations at ENOC/ EPPCO service stations across Dubai. ENOC has three service stations in Saudi Arabia with plans to build twelve more in 2016. Free LPG Refill: In partnership with Dar Al Ber Society and held under the theme “Feed a Family”, Emirates Gas LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ENOC, distributed free LPG refill vouchers to 500 underprivileged families in Dubai, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain. Environment l Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo ENOC partnered with EMAAR on the UAE’s Night Creatures exhibit at Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo in The Dubai Mall as part of its commitment to promoting educational initiatives and raising awareness on various social and environmental causes.
