The Fun Theory

• Bottle Bank Arcade Machine Purpose : get more people to

use the bottle bank

→ Over one evening, our bottle bank arcade was used by nearly one hundred people.→ During the same period, the nearby conventional bottle bank was used twice.

• The World’s Deepest Bin Purpose : get more people to

throw their rubbish in the bin

→ During one day 72kg of rubbish was collected in our bin.→ That's 41kg more than the normal bin just a small distance away.

Hope Soap Purpose : prevent disease(children)

Method : washing hands fre-quently

Nudge Effect

• Doesn’t say “Do something”

• Make people Do something voluntarily

We call it Nudge Effect. <the theory by Richard Thaler>

• Nudge : inducing people to do something softly

My idea Situation : some people get on subway when the doors are closing.

Purpose : Make them don’t try to get on subway at this situation.

How? :

Visual effect – Let people think to be at Dangerous situation

Expected Problem : Someone who likes thrill do it more…
