21.4 million people in Pakistan get up every morning not knowing whether they will get anything to eat
Largely this is due to the fact that they
don’t have an ‘effective breadwinner’
And to be a good breadwinner, you
need to be ‘adequately skilled’
To be Matriculate or Intermediate
is simply ‘not enough’
WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY
•One of the youngest populations in the world•Over 50 million between 17 - 35 years
Assuming 10 million graduates / technicians, we are still left with 40 million that need to be skilled today
Will they be an Asset or
Liability?
This was the thought behind the vision for

• Second institute under construction in Korangi
• Two more Institutes under discussion in Karachi and Lahore
• THF pioneered the International Certification of C&G – UK - now TEVTA Punjab, AmanTech and others have adopted it
• Sent instructors for training to Australia on AUSAID scholarships
• Trainers from Germany were invited for training of instructors
• 4 THF trainers will be going to Germany in October for a Master Training
