Zeta Tau Alpha
THIS year has been a great one
for the Theta Zeta Chapter of
ZTA at Wofford. We were
declared South Carolina’s
Outstanding Chapter at Zeta Day
in February, an honor we could
not have achieved without the
hard work of all of the sisters.
Recruitment was a huge success
– not only did we meet quota,
but we beat it by five and
welcomed thirty-‐five beautiful
new members to our chapter. We

success lead us to be recognized
at the annual Zeta Day, where
our chapter won awards for our
Recruitment Excellence and our
New Member Programming. We
are so excited to welcome our
beautiful new members, and
hope to repeat this incredible
recruitment process next year

On July 24, 2012, Natalie
Hahn was diagnosed with stage
three ovarian cancer during a
routine chapter after her
freshman year here as a Zeta Tau
Alpha. Since her diagnosis, Natalie
has not only beat the life-‐
threatening disease, but inspired
her sisters, peers, and countless
other people with her energetic
spirit and downright refusal to
succumb to cancer.
Natalie was front and center
at girls’ bid day, despite the fact
that she was in between chemo
treatments. She never let trial
dampen her spirit. Her boyfriend
named her fighter’s spirit
“Nattitude.” This “Nattitude” has
contributed more to our chapter
than we ever would have
imagined. If everyone could have
half the amount of Nattitude that
she has then the world would be a

much better place. It was this
Nattitude that inspired our
entire ZTA chapter to take
actions against ovarian cancer
through thousands of Got
Nattitude car decals, hundreds
of Stella and Dot Ovarian Cancer
Tribute bracelets, and a
headband named "The
Nattitude" in her honor through
headbands of hope. Natalie is a
living example of hope: her
attitude sets an example to
anyone she encounters.
And now, during the spring
semester, we get to welcome her
back to Wofford with us. It is so
powerful to have such a strong,
confident, faithful, positive, and
caring woman as a member of
our sorority. We have learned so
much from Natalie’s success and
are so blessed to have her back
and thriving as a ZTA!
Theta Zeta welcomes back our beautiful Natalie Hahn!
“Beauties for Breast Cancer” Theta Zeta launches its first ever charity fashion show
IN November of 2012, Wofford
chapter of ZTA began a new
charity tradition. Under the
leadership of Rachel Jones, we
were able to plan and execute an
entire fashion show to support
our national charity, raising
awareness and education about
breast cancer. This event, which
was in the making since spring,
featured donated clothing from
local boutiques like Two Doors
Down, Three Sisters Boutique,
Oops!, Couture Closets, Pink on
Main, Urbanista, Lemon Peel, and
Prices. These generous donors
offered discounts to ticket buyers
with proof of purchase. We set up
our runway in the Michael S.
Brown Center, and even had male
models from the Sigma Alpha
Epsilon fraternity. Models from
Zeta Tau Alpha Upstate, Kappa
Alpha Theta, Tri Delta, and Kappa
Delta volunteered their time to
make the event the wonderful
success it was. In one night, the
sisters of Theta Zeta managed to
raise $2,430. Please keep an eye
out for the next annual “Beauties
for Breast Cancer” fashion show!

Think Pink… Keeping up the tradition
DURING the ___ annual Think
Pink Week, our chapter put in
hours of work and managed to
raise a record-‐breaking
amount of money to benefit
our national charity. The week
consisted of many different
components that helped raise a
total of $6,147.75 in one week.
Zeta Tau Alpha partnered with
the Fraternity Row at Wofford
and held a “pink out”
competition between the
houses, declaring Kappa Sigma
the winner and raising $500 in
this event alone. By
incorporating other Greek
organizations in the week, we
increased enthusiasm through-‐
out the campus. We then held
a silent auction before the
Homecoming game, raising
$2.,325 on gift baskets,
vacations, and other creative
and valuable gifts donated by
the sisters themselves. Our
biggest success was our Think
Pink Dinner, held on October
25 in the pavilion outside of
Phase V. Parents of local Zeta
Tau Alpha sisters volunteered
their time to grill hamburgers
for the event, and it was our
most successful dinner yet. We
raised $3,322.75 in one night,
the most we have collected at
the dinner yet. We thank
everyone who made this event
a success, and hope to see an
even bigger turnout next ever!
