  • There are the following types of schools in Poland: primary school - pupils from 6 to12 years old gymnasium - students from 13 to15 years old (secondary school) post-gymnasium schools - students from 16 to18 years old 5-year tertiary education - higher education Education in Poland starts at the age of 6 years and education is compulsory until the age of 18. Attending of both primary and lower secondary schools is obligatory.
