THEOS INTRODUCTION
THEOS has been operating at the orbit (822 km. altitude) after completion of the orbit transfer on October 14, 2008.
In-Orbit Tests (IOT) started for 2 cycle performing the system commissioning and image calibration globally during October 16-December 6,2008 with 3,800 image segment of 13,000 PAN scenes + 4,840 MS scenes for IOT. 51 Gbits SSR capacity verified.
All Satellite subsystems testing were completely performed withVerification of AOCS modes of operations; Acquisition and Safe Hold mode, Normal mode , Orbit Control mode.
With the manoeuvre report, it is compatible for more than 10 years in-orbit life.

Approach based on SADE database (CNES Method)Using desert sitesrequires continuous acquisitions over selected sitesrequires pre-processing of data (tool provided by Astrium)
Dataset acquired during IOTmore than 50 measurements available and pre-processedsynthesis file generated, analysed and sent by Astrium to CNESCross-calibration with respect to CNES operated sensors, used as reference.
