Each level incorporates theory, ear-training, sight-reading, sight-singing, improvisation and composition. While Sound Advice students are prepared for the theory and ear-training requirements of the Royal Conservatory of Music examinations, the primary reason for students to take Sound Advice is to develop deeper understanding and enjoyment of music.

Sound Advice can be taken to enrich or to prepare students for instrumental studies. It is recommended that students continue to study at the corresponding grade level. Please refer to the Theory Class Schedule on pg. 30-31.
