Here I train new intake candidates, product knowledge and new product training. I also liaise and perform road evaluation and refresher training to drivers and selected Ops staff. I compile daily and monthly reports to EXCO and the HR managers as required. My truck driving career started off in 1982 when I joined the SADF. I was posted at numerous bases in and out of SA doing driver training of new recruits and upgrading courses on various vehicles in the Army. Later I also drove heavy vehicles for a number of trucking companies in SA as well as in bordering countries including Namibia, Angola, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. I have vast experience in driving trucks, on most of South Africa’s main roads. Types of trucks driven include Manual and Auto shift 13 and 18 speed Freightliners, using the Fuller transmissions and Powerliners, Daff, Nissan and Hino’s manual shifts. Other type trucks driven include International Pro Sleeper 13 speed manual as well as auto shifts (calculator). I’6 I’m also familiar with Merc, (armrest) semi auto and full auto shifts, Volvo 12 speed manual, Pre Select 8 speed, I- shift, MAN manual and the latest MAN auto shift. I worked in USA for 4 years as a farm hand and truck driver and machine operator. In USA I drove Pete’s, Mack, Freightliners and Kenworth. All these were either 9 speed or 13 speed Fuller transmissions.

SUMMARY
