Of course it’s cold, it’s not Greece and certainly, not the Carribean.

It’s Ireland, at the very end of 2013 and beggining of 2014. Christ-

mas, new year’s eve, pubs, ginger haired girls, music, guinness,

more guiness, partying..

Nahhh... well actually this trip was finally more...

I told you it’s Ireland during the winter bro! What did you expect, beachbreaks,

shoulder high and glassy?

That would be Sri Lanka and yeah its a paradise, maybe you should go there

asap.

I’m going to be in Ireland though, watching this for starters and finding some of

the unlimited shelters for my size, as well.

telling stories about how big yesterday was..

It’s a bit hard to start the day! Pulling the covers is the first mission, it’s

cold and during the night it’s colder. You open the heating while making

breakfast and the coffee is so damn good and warm, definitely better

than the wet wetsuit, which after the 6th day you finally realise that it

will never dry again, never! Have you ever forgotten your wettie in your

trunk for a couple of days? Yeah its not only wet...

I guess after all this, in order to get out there you really need a great

glassy M O T I V A T I O N .

Drive from Dublin to Bundoran, head South to Grange , then Sli-

go, did you spot Kilala on the map,??? drive by the cliffs of Mo-

her after you have dinner at Doolin and check out Lahinch, move

on to the Dingle peninsula and go around it carefully. Drive and

keep your head to the right as you go South and left on your way

up North again because you need to try the spots one more time,

to decide which one you liked the most...

How would you like your Slab sir?Should we wrap it into a Pointbreak for takeaway or would you prefer to Reef it here?

FOMO? Who cares about FOMO, when we are talking about FOMAS here?

Fear Of Missing A Spot! It’s a disease, an abnormal condition that affects the body

as Wikipedia says. I say the soul as well! It’s not that I am smarter than all the

others, but dude, I know that there’s got to be a spot that is working better than this

today! Lets just drive to the next one, it’s only 15 minutes away. The swell is com-

ing from there and the wind is blowing the other way and it’s low tide now and and

and...we need to drive there and if it’s not working I am sure that we can check

out the other spot.. it’s only 30 minutes AWAY... I mean, I know that Rastovitch and

Machado find perfection every day, but do I really have their time? Shit...!

I am just getting out... getting out HERE&NOW.
